Construction Site [Monday]

As a new week opened, Fraser's back at the site, hard hat on his head and tool belt around his waist.

"We're making fine progress," he told the workers, "but we've still got a ways to go. Continue working, be safe and take breaks when needed. It's going to be warm today."

There were hard hats (yellow and one pink) and tool belts for the students to equip themselves with.

If it was any indication of how distracted he was, Conner had snagged the pink hard hat today and hadn't noticed, and his tool belt was on backwards.

"Hey, sweetheart," Cole said, giving her a kiss and a concerned look. "Are you sure you should be up and about? Not that I don't appreciate the food."

Phoebe kissed him and then nodded slightly. "I wanted to see you. I'm okay right now, and promise that after lunch I'll get some more rest." She smiled at Anders. "Anders isn't letting me do much."

"After lunch is strictly picnic-blanket and relaxation time, promise," Anders said, doing his best to look innocent. Because really, after that suggestion.

Phoebe was also trying to look contrite and innocent after that suggestion, too.

"Promise," Phoerbe said with a smile as she leaned against Cole. "After lunch, we'll rest on the grass... and if I get too hot, I'll go back to the cabins where it's cooler, okay?"

Something about revenge or UST that didn't exist, but it was all very vague.

Phoebe was amused by Cole's gruffness because she knew exactly how worried and concerned he was about them. "I love you," she said softly, handing him a sandwich.

John thought he'd try to continue improving his tan between classes. If he was in range of ogling construction workers in pink hats, he wasn't going to complain too loudly.
