Construction Site [Monday]

As a new week opened, Fraser's back at the site, hard hat on his head and tool belt around his waist.

"We're making fine progress," he told the workers, "but we've still got a ways to go. Continue working, be safe and take breaks when needed. It's going to be warm today."

There were hard hats (yellow and one pink) and tool belts for the students to equip themselves with.

When it got close to lunchtime, Conner headed over Fraser's way. "Hi, uh, Constable Mountie-dude?"

"Well," Conner replied, fiddling with the straps on his hard hat (which he still didn't know was pink), "I was just wondering if it was a problem for me to only work through lunch today? My girlfriend's in the clinic and I'm kinda afraid she might try and leave before the doctor says it's okay."

"That's perfectly fine, Mr. McKnight," Fraser said quickly. "Will she be all right?"

"I'm hoping so, yeah," Conner replied. "Just want to make sure, you know?"
