Faculty Party, The Danger Shop, Thursday afternoon through evening

Invitations had ~~handwavily~~ gone out to all Fandom High faculty:

When the faculty members stepped into the Danger Shop, they saw that it did indeed look like the deck of a cruise ship on a nice, sunny day. There was a snazzy buffet, shuffleboard, deck chairs, a string quartet, and much, much more.

And an open bar.

Above the door leading out of the shop was a banner:

But enough of that. Now it was time to boogie.

[OOC: Post is open all day, huzzah! NPCs are completely free to mod. And, um, sorry about the egregious punnery inside the OCD. This is pretty bad even for me.

ETA: Also, if there are any terrible typos or other general errors anywhere, I wrote this at 3:00 AM. You're lucky I strung three words together, let alone a series of painful puns.]

"And I suppose you'd teach me if I asked?" Bad bad BAD BAD BAD choice of words.

Very bad.

Deadpool was about to say 'Hell no!' but stopped because there was a hat involved. "As long as I get to wear the hat and there are women involved, sure."

"Charts might actually be bett-" He cut himself off as quickly as he could. "What's so special about my hat that you want to wear it? You're not wearing it to make big gay sex with me. It would just fall off."

"So you want big gay sex without the hat then?" He shook his head. "What Canadian child didn't want to wear one of those hats growing up?"

"Not with you," Fraser said. "No sex. You can't be with me despite your love of maple syrup and beer and pizza and models and my hat. My hat is mine. It stays with me. Only special people get to see my hat."

Deadpool narrowed his eyes. He'd get that hat sometime, damn it.

"Hat!" And with that, he lunged for the aforementioned clothing article.

Fraser ducked and tried to barrel into Deadpool's knees to take him off balance. "Not your hat, maple syrup boy!"

Oh, it was ON now. "It will be soon you overly polite parade guard!" Deadpool shouted, grabbing onto Fraser to keep his balance.

"In your dreams," Fraser retorted, moving to stomp on Deadpool's foot with his boot. "Get your own hat!"

"Ow!" Wade smacked him on the shoulder. "That wasn't very polite!"

"Neither was trying to take a man's hat," he said, flicking at Wade's face with his fingers. "If we had UST, maybe you'd get to wear my hat!"

Wade flailed at that. Was that all he needed to do?

"No problem!" He leaned forward and kissed him in a manner reminiscent of Bugs Bunny. Then snatched the hat away.

"Did you just kiss me?" Fraser asked, dazed and hat-less.

Wade put the hat on and posed a little. He felt very official. Now he just needed a horse.

"That would be a yes. Unless they do things differently where you're from. Should I have done that weird nose nuzzling thing? Would that have caused more UST? Because I can."

"No nuzzling," Fraser said. "What did you have for breakfast? Did you brush your teeth?"

"Hey!" Wade replied, outraged over the lack of faith in his personal hygiene skills. "Just be glad I didn't add any tongue!"

"I am!" Fraser exclaimed. "Was doing that worth the reward?

Wade tipped his new hat at him. "Oh yeah. Totally worth it."

"That's the second hat I've gone through in as many months," Fraser said. "The RCMP is going to wonder what I'm doing with them when I request another new one. Telling them I got kissed by a man with a maple syrup fetish who then took my hat will get me laughed at."

"You could say I beat you up for it, if that helps. And for the last time, I don't have a maple syrup fetish! I like it as much as everyone else, no more."

He adjusted the hat. "Now a thing for men in uniform..." Oh yeah, he was just taunting the poor mountie now.

"And I have a thing for men in masks," Fraser replied. Hey, he could taunt too. "Red masks. See, we could even match."

So he wanted to play gay chicken, huh? This really can't end well.

"Really now?" Wade asked, taking a step into his personal space.

"Definitely," Fraser said with a nod. He'd already been kissed. What more could happen? Good thing he didn't say that out loud. "You could get my name tattooed on your rear and I could do the same."

Really, he just needs to shut up.

That was... really really weird.

But he still wasn't about to let him win! No way, no how!

Why yes, those would be Deadpool's hands on Fraser's hips, moving closer to him. "Ooo. Marking your property, huh? Nah~aughty!"

"If I have to." Fraser has no idea how it had gotten to this point. Really. No. Idea. "You've already got my hat. Shouldn't you have the whole caboodle?"

Caboodle? Where in the hell had that word come from?
