Tremble Foolish Mortals: The Gods and You, Class Fifteen [Period 5, Thursday]

Ares looked disturbingly happy as he addressed the class.

"Our final today is " He clicked his fingers and a portal appeared. "If you'd all follow me through the portal?"

As the class entered the portal, they may have felt an odd tingling.

Anders stared incredulously at the spot where Ares had been. "Survive? Survive? Is he frakking kidding?"

. . . and then he took in the be-robed and be-silly-hatted crowd on the horizon. Just on the other side of where it dips down just below the level of the horizon, if you've ever been to the horizon.

". . . oh frak me."

Even though in canon, that's totally what their god does. In a metaphorical CGI sense.
