Driver's Education - 3rd Period - 4/17

The classroom had all the chairs cleared out this morning, leaving a rug with a TV playing a movie, a couple of cozy coupe and a few big wheels to keep the kids entertained. There were two kids sitting on Deadpool's desk, one was giving the entire class as disdainful look because she was so much cooler than any of them. The other tried to look the same but ended up grinning a lot.

Deadpool stepped forward and started to talk. "So! You all have your final coming up soon and you know what that means." A pause.

"That they're all gonna fail?" The girl asked.

"No, they're not all going to fail," Deadpool replied, much to her dismay. "It means that today is a blow off day during which we all pretend to study for the exam. Here's a hint kiddies, if you didn't crash the car, you'll probably pass the final. Whether or not you pass at the DMV is up to you."

The little boy disappeared halfway through this to go play on top of one of the cozy coupes. "KARYUU, GET DOWN BEFORE I GET PUNCHED BY ARASHI FOR GETTING YOU A CONCUSSION."

He's there, with the kids. Trying to make sure they don't kill themselves playing.

Deadpool stared at him with big eyes. "But he's having fu- KARYUU STOP CLIMBING ON THE DAMN CAR- fun!"

Orden was totally rocking out his big wheel and started riding up by Kid to get her attention because he had a big wheel and was an emporer and had a girlfriend, and therefor he was cool, and Kid seemed cool so she should recognize that.

Kid was not impressed by any emperor. She was a freelancer and that was way cooler than anything some baby could be.

...but the big wheel was neat.

"Hi," Orden said as he sidled his big wheel up to Kid.

This girl had a really cool nod. "I'm Orden!"

Kid looked over at Deadpool, who was dragging Karyuu off the car again. "Yeah. An' he's the coolest dad ever." She glared at Orden, daring him to contradict her.

Orden gave Kid a very skeptical look because, while her dad was kind of cool and superhero-y, was he an emporer like his Daddy? Probably not. Or a con-cube-bine, like his Papa? Orden didn't know what that meant, but if it was Papa Chad, it had to be cool.

But he didn't say anything, because he knew from Bailey yesterday that girls got mean when they talked about their dads.

"My dad's the big guy in the pink shirt." He pointed, as though he could be easily missed.

Rikku waved to her mentor. "I came along to class today! Is that okay? I really wanted to see the class before it ends. Oooh, are these two yours??"

Totally, that was why she came to class. Really.

"Of course not my lil' minion." He glanced over at Kid and Karyuu. Thankfully Karyuu wasn't climbing again. That boy was going to give him a heart attack some day.

"Yup. Kid and Karyuu."

Kid gave her a suspicious look and Karyuu waved cheerfully.

"Hi, Kid! Hi, Karyuu! Whoa. Different moms, huh? That's kinda weird." Kids were probably a bad topic, weren't they? Yes. "So, like, are all these kids from the future or, like, a possible future? 'Cause there are a lot of them running around."

Deadpool face palmed. A lot.

"Yes. Only possible futures because their being here means I am never having sex again. Ever."

"Is that even possible?" Rikku looked at Karyuu oddly. "It doesn't work like that on Spira. Whoa."

"Man. You're not the only one." She blinked. "From what I've heard. Of other people. Who seem to have kids."

Karyuu continued to giggle at the fun lady and his daddy.

"I don't know. I don't want to know. Ow. Just... ow. If anyone asks, I'm the dad in the relationship. No M-preg for me, thank you very much."

"Do you know who the ... other dad is? I saw someone yesterday who didn't even know." She shook her head. "Are they going back, or are they here? 'Cause usually Fandom stuff goes away after a day, or after a weekend, but ... this is a Tuesday."

Deadpool watched as Karyuu once again tried to climb on the cars. "I'm not sure I want them to leave just yet. KARYUU YOU HAVE FIVE SECONDS TO GET DOWN AND YOU WASTED TWO LISTENING TO ME."

"Sometimes I think I don't want them to ever leave," she smiled. "And then I think that it should be legal to tranq your own kid and leave her in a closet until she figures out how to wake up after dawn because she is insane and I never had that much energy she must be some kind of mutant or something."
