"How could you ever think it was? Bridge--" Parker leaned over to gently turn his face toward hers. "Speaking as someone who's been possessed, bewitched, transformed, and messed with, it could never, ever be your fault. You didn't collaborate. You just got blind-sided. Do you believe that, now?"
