"From what I've heard, you already did." Parker raised her eyebrows. "Blair mentioned you guys did an exorcism on him, before we took off on our trip on Friday. After he hugged me and said he never, ever wanted to fight me."
Sam kept his voice casual as he tried to figure out how to respond. "Yeah, he was possessed by some kind of demon. But we managed to exorcise it before he hurt anyone. I'd apologize for the hugging, but I don't think there's any way to control that," he said lightly.
"No, there's really not, and never has been. Aside from some very determined growling, which just gets him to back off five feet with me." Parker looked thoughtful. "There was also mention of how you guys found out about that. And the kind of risk that other people," she pointed at herself, "Would have been running if you and Dean and your dad hadn't stepped in."
Sam couldn't help but laugh softly as he shook his head. "No, that's all pretty accurate. I have these weird visions sometimes, of things that are going to happen. And I had one of Blair killing you. It didn't take a whole lot of effort to figure out that there was something really wrong with that."
"Definitely. On so many levels, not to impugn Blair's manhood again." Parker smiled, then held out her hand to Sam. "Thanks. I owe you and your family big-time. I know you would have done it anyway, but, well... I appreciate that it was done partly on my behalf."
Parker squeezed his hand, then dropped it. "Yeah. As okay as it could, really. I'll thank your brother and your dad later, but if you need anything-- well, you know where to call."
