Library, Saturday evening

After this morning's adventures in town, Isabel hit the library to start researching. Surely somewhere in the books there was some kind of information about trolls. Every once in a while she'd look out the window and fret at the fighting.

Rory - with Greg in tow - arrived late. "I'm so sorry - this idiot," she emphasized that word with a sharp tug on Greg's sleeve as he winced, "was trying to blow himself up in the hallway and I got sidetracked. I brought my books though! Stupid trolls."

"I was trying out chemicals to make those stupid trolls go boom. Let go," Greg whined, yanking his arm away from Rory as she rolled her eyes exasperatedly.

"Well, you're here now and that's what's important," Yomiko said. "Grab some books and start researching. So far we know they're vulnerable to iron and they steal people to replace them with changelings."

"It's okay, it's your first invasion, it's allowed," she said, giving him a quick hug. "It just seems like they grabbed a lot of people, Jack, Evie, Jarod...I was afraid you were one of them."

Greg kissed her temple. "They got Jack and Jarod? But...okay, they're both bigger than I am. This is worse than I thought."

"Much worse," Isabel nodded. "Not only are the trolls here, they're rampaging through town. Door and I ran into some of them when we were trying to look for people."

"Before we knew there were trolls," she explained. "Based on last night's radio we thought we were looking for a satanic sorority. I didn't think I'd have a problem handling a vapid blonde."
