The bunny ears bobbed as Chad nodded his head. "What a bully. Starting a war, knowing she had better weapons."

"At least you now know for next time, and can use your sneaky advantage to rule over the world of popcorn flinging, and Nadia will have to bow to your supremacy," Mac said with a grin. "It'd probably be fun, actually."

Mac's cute little sentiment about the matter made Chad grin a little, too. "An' we can make her walk around in pink and bunny ears." Although, what Chad had in mind was much, much different than his pink Hawaiian shirt. Much different.

"Well, yeah, you could do that," Mac said giving that statement a moment to sink in. There was a possibility her mind went the same way as Chad's, but she didn't actually vocalise it.

"Or you could make her wear kitty ears, just to ring the changes," she said with a shrug.

Chad didn't say anything to that, but the distractedly pensive look on his face should tell Mac that he definately thought that was a feasible alternative.

"All you need to do now, is to challenge her to a re-match," Mac said. "'Cause if you don't put your plans into action, what good are they, really?"

Chad scratched his eyebrow a moment. "Think it should be a sneak attack? Or a planned rematch?"

"I'm thinking, that if you want a tactical advantage, that a sneak attack is the better choice," Mac decided. "She fought dirty the first time, then I think you're totally entitled to do it this time."

"That's very true," Chad said, with a thoughtful grunt, wheels in his head starting to pull into motion.

"You formulated a proper plan of attack yet?" Mac may be getting a little too in to this whole popcorn wars idea.

... What? She does this kind of thing with her espresso beans, it should be expected.

"Um, no. Not yet. But I will." It would just take him a while. He was kinda slow with stuff like this.

"If you think about it too long, this'll be on the radio tonight, and the surprise will be ruined," Mac warned him. "Just remember that."

Chad grunted, his mouth twisting a bit in troubled comisseration. "That's a good point..."

"...but when we get right down to it, I don't even have any popcorn."

"You could improvise?" Mac suggested. "Might even find there's a better substitute." She thought for a moment, "Like peanuts, or malteasers... or raisins or something."

"Popcorn's nice, though, 'cause there's no way they could hurt someone."

Well, if you got it in someone's eye, maybe, but even then, it was unlikely blinding.

"Mm, true," Mac acquiesced. "It's probably the most harmless food out there. Except marshmallows. They're also pretty squishy and unhurty."

"That's my new weapon of choice, then," Chad nodded, wondering how ~~and certainly not conveniently later today~~ he could get some. "Marshmallows."

Mac grinned, "Glad to be able to help."

"You know, marshmallows would probably be better. Easier to get on target, and such," she mused.

"And tastier," Chad thought. Marshmallows were totally better than popcorn in his opinion.

"Seeing as they're basically made of sugar and not a whole lot else," Mac said. "Yeah, I can get with that point of view."

"Also, they'd match your ourfit."

"Matching is very important," he agreed with a firm nod. He adjusted the ears just a little bit to make sure they were straight.

Mac tugged on her pink hair highlights, then tapped her, also pink, shirt. "I've got colour co-ordination down to a fine art, my friend."

"That you do," Chad said, realizing an overwhelming feeling of pink at the table all of a sudden. If the world was suddenly taken over by pink-loving aliens, he and Mac would be safe. Maybe even be named king and queen of earth, or something. That's be pretty cool.

"You don't get quite the same effect when you don't have a scheme going on," she said. "Gotta go all out, otherwise, it just doesn't work so well."

"A lot can be said for subtlty, though," Chad said, for the sake of subtle disagreement to prove his point all the better.
