Chad started to nod in agreement before that all had processed in his head. "Wait, what?"

"Oh," Mac pulled a face. "It's one of those days. Stuff keeps singing at me." She rolled her eyes, "At least it's not stealing my clothes and leaving me naked in a common room, which is what happened the last time appliances started acting up around here."

Mac shook her head, "Not really, you'd be surprised how out of tune electronic equipment can be."

She stood and waved at Chad. "Good luck with your marshmallow war. I hope to hear you come out victorious," she said, with a little fistpump to show her enthusiasm.
