"I'm odd. I usually prefer my carrots raw with dip," she said. "And I haven't seen any stuffing recipes that call for carrots although I suppose I just haven't looked through every one of the 3000 recipes that seem to be on the internet." Isabel stopped for a moment, much like the image of Parker in plaid, Buffy cooking Thanksgiving just didn't compute. "Buffy cooked Thanksgiving?"

Willow nodded. "It was scary for us all, and that was before the Chumash showed up."

"Because it's not a holiday with a demon invasion?"

"I just jinxed it didn't I? I've been trying so hard not to."

"Quite possibly," Isabel nodded seriously. "It's been way too quiet. We're do for some insanity. It just better happen after we eat!"

"And hopefully not over the food," Willow said. "Like Zuko and Bel getting into a firefight over the drumsticks."

"Oh they better not. I will beat them with said drumsticks," she said firmly. "This is going to be a nice, civilized meal. Even if half the people at it don't usually celebrate it."

"Just how twitchy do you think we can get Peter with all the Americanisms?" Willow asked. "I feel there should be an attempt to meet a goal, if not break it."

"I'm not sure," Isabel said. "He seemed pretty okay when we talked about it yesterday. Of course that was because he was sort of focused on 'Yay food' as opposed to anything else. And at least this holiday isn't as anti-British as Fourth of July was."

"Good point," Willow said. "Will Greg be around or is he one of those who are bounding homeward?"

"He'll be around ~~if his mun's computer starts working properly~~. That's part of the reason I decided not to go with Parker," she said. "That and Jaye mentioning wanting to order pizza for Thanksgiving dinner."

"We will be having jellybeans and popcorn though," Willow said. "Jaye seemed very excited about that."

"Jellybeans and popcorn?" Isabel might have twitched, just a little. "Please tell me someone is making cranberries and mashed potatoes as well."

"I didn't ask," Willow admitted.

"Okay, then I might need to press your boyfriend into service peeling potatoes after all," she said.

"I feel he should work anyway," Willow said. "I'll be making cookies. And peeling carrots."

"Then that sounds like a plan. And I can probably recruit Greg, Jack and possibly Cedric to help him. Of course Cedric could probably just wave his wand," Isabel snickered, remembering yesterday's conversation, "and get them done with a quick bibbity-boppity-boo."

Willow looked envious. "Some magic types have all the luck."

"But can you image if he actually has to say bibbity-boppity-boo? Somehow it just doesn't seem like a guy thing to say," she laughed.

"Maybe they say something more manly," Willow said. "Like bippitus boppitus bam?"

[NP!]

"That's always a possibility. I'm going to have to ask him. Which of course will lead to more snickering. Poor Cedric had a run-in with my rather bitchy duplicate last week," Isabel explained. "Which involved a conversation about wand usage that he didn't realize was totally innuendo laden. Now anytime we talk about wands, I have to laugh."

"Parker told me a little about that," Willow said. "Is everything okay now? You don't feel a sudden need to try to date Seely again do you?"

"Everything is fine now," she said. "I have no desire to date Seely although I did make him breakfast yesterday to make up for not getting the breakfast she promised him."

"So what was your evil twin like?" Willow asked. "Any sign of vampire?"

"She was a heinous bitch. But since she was in the Perk in the middle of the day I think we can safely say she wasn't a vampire."
