To deep fry or not deep fry, that is the question. Although given Alton Brown's suggestions, Isabel is pretty sure she'll be going the traditional route this year.
"Still! Innards!" Willow said. "It's a shame they weren't in their original format. Though this does make me wonder about turkeys who are genetically engineered to store their organs in easy to remove packages."
"Personally I prefer them this way. Any other would involve even more blood and gore and that's just ick," Isabel said, wrinkling her nose. "Are you staying in town for the holiday?"
"Any special requests for the carrots?" Willow asked. "Do the carrots meet up with the turkey in any fashion besides our stomachs? I'm kinda new to this. Closest I ever came to a proper Thanksgiving I learned I could best help by staying the hell out of Buffy's way."
"I'm odd. I usually prefer my carrots raw with dip," she said. "And I haven't seen any stuffing recipes that call for carrots although I suppose I just haven't looked through every one of the 3000 recipes that seem to be on the internet." Isabel stopped for a moment, much like the image of Parker in plaid, Buffy cooking Thanksgiving just didn't compute. "Buffy cooked Thanksgiving?"
