Library - 11/21

Isabel raced into the library a few minutes late. It was hard to get out of bed when it's cold outside.

"Jellybeans and popcorn?" Isabel might have twitched, just a little. "Please tell me someone is making cranberries and mashed potatoes as well."

"I didn't ask," Willow admitted.

"Okay, then I might need to press your boyfriend into service peeling potatoes after all," she said.

"I feel he should work anyway," Willow said. "I'll be making cookies. And peeling carrots."

"Then that sounds like a plan. And I can probably recruit Greg, Jack and possibly Cedric to help him. Of course Cedric could probably just wave his wand," Isabel snickered, remembering yesterday's conversation, "and get them done with a quick bibbity-boppity-boo."

Willow looked envious. "Some magic types have all the luck."

"But can you image if he actually has to say bibbity-boppity-boo? Somehow it just doesn't seem like a guy thing to say," she laughed.

"Maybe they say something more manly," Willow said. "Like bippitus boppitus bam?"

[NP!]

"That's always a possibility. I'm going to have to ask him. Which of course will lead to more snickering. Poor Cedric had a run-in with my rather bitchy duplicate last week," Isabel explained. "Which involved a conversation about wand usage that he didn't realize was totally innuendo laden. Now anytime we talk about wands, I have to laugh."

"Parker told me a little about that," Willow said. "Is everything okay now? You don't feel a sudden need to try to date Seely again do you?"

"Everything is fine now," she said. "I have no desire to date Seely although I did make him breakfast yesterday to make up for not getting the breakfast she promised him."

"So what was your evil twin like?" Willow asked. "Any sign of vampire?"

"She was a heinous bitch. But since she was in the Perk in the middle of the day I think we can safely say she wasn't a vampire."

"It's been done anyway," Willow said. "Since people thought she was you I'm going to assume no goatee either."

"No goatee, but she did have one hell of a New York accent when she dropped the charade."

"Did she complain a lot about not getting proper bagels?" Willow asked. "I hear they do that."

"No whining about bagels. Mostly just bitching about her lot in life and how she was pissed at my brother."

"Did he steal her Barbie?"

"Honestly I don't know. She'd gone to Roswell and then he went to New York with her. But I don't know the details." Isabel shrugged, "Max and I arent' speaking at the moment."

"Well we shall just have to make our own family-style holiday merriment here then," Willow said. "Only without anyone getting embarassingly drunk and bringing up old childhood issues that shouldn't be spoken of at the table."

"I'm all for that," Isabel smiled. "And the only thing to worry about with this crew is that someone will get drunk and bring up the embarrasssing events of this past summer."

"I think we have a M.A.D. scenario on that one considering how many of us were both here this summer and embarassed."

"You do have a point. If people left everytime someone mentioned an embarrassing incident we'd have no one at the table by dessert."

"Though? More cookies for the rest of us," Willow grinned. "Anyway, I should go ~~because my mun is wiped~~. See you for Thanksgiving goodness if not earlier?"

"I'll be around! Thanks for stopping by!"
