Study Hall - Monday, September 19th

Welcome to the study hall for Monday.

I spent yesterday in my tower room with a bottle of Captain Morgan and a carton of cigarettes and I haven't held a gun in twenty-four hours. Needless to say, I am not in the best of fuckin' moods, and the first student to try anything is getting detention. Hell, the first teacher to try anything with me may get detention.

*glares at students across the study hall teacher's desk, props her booted feet on the corner of the desk, and flashes a dirty look to everybody who walks past*

Your announcements for today:

-- As some of you who didn't already know may have found out this weekend, we do have werewolves on campus. The curfew is there for a reason, people. And on the nights of the full moon, you WILL be in your dorm rooms by the time the moon rises. No exceptions.

-- For anyone who may have missed it, homecoming's coming up soon. Also, fandomhitunes has arrived.

-- The door of locker 327 is stuck open and won't fucking shut. There's your warning.

-- The cafeteria will be serving any meal you ask for today on request, but please keep in mind that the cafeteria workers think someone poured a potion or something into one of the vats, and since they were pretty sure it wasn't hazardous, they went and started serving anyway. I really have to fire those fucking bastards sooner or later.

Jesus, I need a gun. *squirms*

Maybe if I just hold a water pistol, it'll take the edge off ...

"See? I knew you guys would be good at this." Parker sighed happily, and cracked her knuckles. "Right, so, things to do: Elizabeth talks to Cally about helping with the campaign, and anyone else who just wants to put in a few hours of grunt work, and Lisa talks to her co-workers. I talk to Professor Gandalf about the timing of debates and/or the vote, so we know what kind of schedule we're on, as well as some magic protections. Elizabeth talks to Rory's stepdad about food-- Lisa, do you want to check in with the Perkulator? And I'll try to recruit more help from the student body for the PR stuff.

I'll be here every day this week, and we'll let anyone know who cares that they can approach me about the campaign with questions. You two-- be social, tell people you're running, make it clear we're not *against* the JA so much as we are *for* the students.

Cuddy & Weird for Fandom High Student Council... we need a slogan."

"You've got the extra room in the dorm, haven't you, Parker? Maybe we could set up a campaign HQ there? We'll need lists of students, so we can mark down allegiences, so we don't waste time on anyone. Get folders up on the other candidates, and also, so anyone who wants to help, knows where to come."

"Crap." She should've seen that coming. Reluctantly, Parker saw her dance studio turning into a political bullpen, and rolled her eyes. "All right. Room 236 will be converted. I'll get a few more chairs and tables in there for anyone who wants to help." She grinned. "Hmm. Looks like you *have* done this before, if you're that organized."

Liz laughs. "I have indeed. I'll head across after classes to give you a hand, if you want it. I might try and head out of here to somewhere to pick up some more supplies as well... whiteboard, markers and the like."

She rises from her seat. "Sounds good. I'll see you later"

"Ladies? I think we've got a shot here. I see great things for the Student Council with you two involved." Parker grins wickedly. "And then I can forget aobut it until next year. Thanks for stepping up."
