Study Hall - Monday, September 19th

Welcome to the study hall for Monday.

I spent yesterday in my tower room with a bottle of Captain Morgan and a carton of cigarettes and I haven't held a gun in twenty-four hours. Needless to say, I am not in the best of fuckin' moods, and the first student to try anything is getting detention. Hell, the first teacher to try anything with me may get detention.

*glares at students across the study hall teacher's desk, props her booted feet on the corner of the desk, and flashes a dirty look to everybody who walks past*

Your announcements for today:

-- As some of you who didn't already know may have found out this weekend, we do have werewolves on campus. The curfew is there for a reason, people. And on the nights of the full moon, you WILL be in your dorm rooms by the time the moon rises. No exceptions.

-- For anyone who may have missed it, homecoming's coming up soon. Also, [livejournal.com profile] fandomhitunes has arrived.

-- The door of locker 327 is stuck open and won't fucking shut. There's your warning.

-- The cafeteria will be serving any meal you ask for today on request, but please keep in mind that the cafeteria workers think someone poured a potion or something into one of the vats, and since they were pretty sure it wasn't hazardous, they went and started serving anyway. I really have to fire those fucking bastards sooner or later.

Jesus, I need a gun. *squirms*

Maybe if I just hold a water pistol, it'll take the edge off ...

Parker looks sour. "None. Aside from get at least one of their guys in every office, and hey, it's not a bad strategy. I think we can counter it by limiting our campaign efforts to you too-- less diffusion-- and also by maybe pointing out that domination of the council by one clique can't be good for the rest of the Student Body."

Parker narrows her eyes. "I might attend a meeting of the JA, since they're looking for new members, in order to get a feel for what they're up to-- but I don't expect anything to come of it except for a better idea of the personalities involved. The only ones I've interacted with personally are Angelus and Malfoy; I don't know anything about Belthazor personally, and the rumors about Faith are getting too wild to take seriously."

My friend in the clinic has partied with Faith - I don't think she is going to be a major problem. I don't even think we'll need to attack her character, she'll do enough of that on her own, and I think keeping it above-the-belt for now is better for several reasons. Plus, how much damage can a Secretary do? Write bad minutes at a meeting?

I'd say take care of yourself at that meeting, but I have the feeling I don't need to worry about you *winks*
