Library, 8/28

Not being able to stay away one more minute, Yomiko had collected the library key from the office skeletons, narrowly avoiding freaking out all over the place. Really, skeletons? What kind of place was this? She unlocked the library and peeked inside. "Hello? Is anybody...oohhhhh..."

And then she was off, wandering through the stacks like a kid in a candy store.

((The library is open! Come meet the new librarian. No OCD, as it is still summer, la.))

More words going by, whoosh whoosh whoosh, and Evie latched onto the ones that were familiar. "Yes, this is an *wonderful* library. I'm so very pleased that it's open to the students!" She started to blush, and said, "But, I, um. I don't know about the rest of all that. I'm afraid I'm rather out of my depth here."

"Yes, it is, rather," Evie said, remembering the first move to London, and how difficult that had been. "Well, I suppose I'll just have to come back, then, when I have a better grip on how things are done here." She walked over to the journals section, and picked out the three most recent journals of Anthropology and Archaeology Today, and put them on top of her Atlas. "I think this will do for now, if I'm allowed to check them all out at once? Otherwise, just the Atlas, I think."

"Yes, please!" Equilibrium restored, Evie bounced up on her toes, then down again. "Thank you ever so much for your help, Miss-- I'm so sorry, I didn't catch your name."

"Thank you Miss Readman! And I shall certainly do that."

Evie left the library feeling accomplished and happy, hugging the atlas to herself and humming. "Let's go see about you now, shall we?" she muttered to the journals.
