Rory bounced into the library bright and early on Tuesday, sipping at her third cup of coffee as she took her place behind the desk and curled up with a book of Sylvia Plath's essays.

It's been awhile since Cedric's been in the library but, for some reason, he finds himself there today.

He waves politely at Rory.

Angela doesn't even work today, but somehow she's drawn to the library.

Go figure. "Hey, Rory. I have candy."

Rory waved back. "Hi, Cedric," she said happily. "How goes it?"

"Oooh?" Rory perked up immediately. "Hi! Candy?"

"I'm slightly sunburned and tired but otherwise well." He nods and asks, "And yourself?"

"Awake and thankfully air-conditioned," she replied. "Why the sunburn?"

"I went rafting this weekend," he tells her. "In a place called West Virginia that had a set of rapids called Fuzzy Kittens or something."

"Oh, with Isabel and Jack and Parker?" Rory asked. "I heard about it. So you all missed the weirdness?"

"Yes," he says and nods. "And there was weirdnesse? Is everyone all right?"

"We all thought we were each other," she told him. "I thought I was Jude. I called everyone 'bro.' Except the girls, who were 'bra' and that was just embarrassing."

"...how?" Cedric's gotten used to a lot of things but this still confuses him. "Was there a spell cast?"

"I got a bunch of hard candy when I was at the store. Needed a sugar fix," Angela said, popping a root-beer barrel into her mouth. She held the bag out to Rory. "You want?"

"No idea," Rory said, shaking her head. "Just Fandom weirdness, I guess. Everyone's fine. My posture might never be the same, but otherwise, we're fine."

"Surely!" Rory said happily, taking a piece of candy. "What's new and exciting? Did you think you were anyone weird this weekend?"

"Oh, well, that's good then." He nods at that. "This weirdness didn't involve mass singing, did it?"

"Thankfully no," Rory sighed, facepalming. "How was West Virginia? Did you all survive okay?"

"We did," he says. "Jack fell in the water twice, Greg went in once and we played in a ball pit!"

Anakin had tucked himself into a corner with a travel guide of the United States.

No particular reason.

"So I heard on the radio," Rory said. "Do they not have ball pits in England?"

"I'm sure they do," he says and shrugs. "Just none that I've ever been to. Greg got into an argument with a young girl as well."

"Whatcha reading?" Rory asked curiously when she took a break from manning - womanning? - the desk.

"How young?" Rory asked, unsurprised. "Our age?"

"Joxer," Angela said, making a face. "There was ... armor. You?"

Rory wrinkled her nose in sympathy. "Poor you. He's so skeevy. He tried to feel up Aeryn." She shook her head. "I was Jude. I called everyone 'bro' and slouched a lot."
