Rory bounced into the library bright and early on Tuesday, sipping at her third cup of coffee as she took her place behind the desk and curled up with a book of Sylvia Plath's essays.

Anakin had tucked himself into a corner with a travel guide of the United States.

"Whatcha reading?" Rory asked curiously when she took a break from manning - womanning? - the desk.

Anakin flipped the book so she could see the cover. "Trying to learn a little more about this country," he said.

"You and Aeryn both," Rory said, peering at it. "Any particular area?"

"California," Anakin replied. "There's someone out there I should probably see before the end of the month."

"Logan?" Rory guessed with a half-smile.

Anakin wrinkled up his nose. "Exactly," he said, rolling his eyes. "Because I'd totally lose sleep if I never saw him again."

"There might be pining," Rory agreed.

"And bad poetry," Anakin said, nodding. "Better for me to just end things once and for all."

"He might take it poorly," Rory warned. "Don't let the sad puppy gaze sway you."

"I'll be strong," Anakin said, snorting.

"I know you will," Rory said seriously, nodding. "Be courageous. I'll be over there if you need anything, though," she said, heading towards the desk.
