Sexual Education [08/03] - Thursday Afternoon

"It's too hot to do anything," Becky whined when her class came out to meet that day. They might have noticed she was dressed differently than usual - her leathers had been replaced by a miniskirt and halter top, though her jewelry was still there, and her hair was up for a change. "So instead, boys and girls, we're going to do a Q&A. Ask me anything you'd like as long as it somehow relates to the class, and I'll answer it as best I can, 'kay?"

[Apologies for the lame class, but seriously, ask her whatever you'd like. She'll be honest. I just have a headache and lack inspiration today. :) SP from me until about 2 or 3 EDT]

"Are you better off, though? Maybe you should..." Blair blushed and choked for a second. "...be with him."

Bel blinked. "Okay, first off, I love Phoebe. Second...he doesn't love me."

"But you love him too and how do you know?" Blair asked. "He doesn't know that you're in love with him."

"He's in love with someone else," Bel said simply.

"So are you." Blair said just as simply.

"Well, uh...." Stupid logic. "I just know he doesn't feel the same, trust me," Bel said.

"If I called Angel right now and ask him if he thought you were in love with him, what do you think he'd say?"

"He'd think you were joking."

"So he wouldn't believe that you would be in love with him." Blair nodded. "Just like you don't believe he's might be in love with you."

"I know he's not," Bel said. "I know who he has feelings for and it's not me."

Blair rubbed his eyes for a minute. "You have feelings for Phoebe, man! Can't Angel love two people too?"

"Maybe, but neither one is me!"

"Maybe we should just call and ask him." Blair grabbed his backpack and started going through it. "Now where did I stick my cellphone?"

"No!" Bel said sharply.

"Bel, you can't know for sure how Angel feels about you until you talk to him. Don't you think you should do that and work this out?" Blair fished out the phone and held it out.

"No, I don't," Bel said. "Because he doesn't feel the same and it will make him act weird around me. Trust me, I know."

"How do you know?" Blair shook his head. "Unless you've suddenly developed powers that let you read minds or know the future you're just acting on feelings and fear."

"Feelings and fear that led Phoebe to turn herself into a mermaid!" Blair bit his lip, aware that he possibly went too far.

"Don't you think I know that?" Bel snapped. "You wanna make things worse for me? Be my guest. Go ahead, make me lose my best friend if that'll make you happy."

Blair dropped the phone back into his bag and shook his head. "I don't want you to lose your best friend or Phoebe. Don't you think something needs to happen here? You're torn up about this and Phoebe cast a spell on herself!"

"And you think telling Angel is going to make Phoebe all better?" Bel said. He shook his head. "I don't think so."

"No, I think that telling Phoebe will make Phoebe all better." Blair nodded firmly. "But I think you need to resolve your feelings with Angel first. Either decide to get over him or get with him."

Bel sighed. "I can't 'get with him.' He's not here, and he doesn't feel the same. How many times do I have to say that?"

"Until someone asks Angel, we don't know how he feels." Blair thought for a moment. "What about if I call and just hint at things. Maybe ask him if he has any crushes or if he's ever been attracted to boys or something?"

"...that might be a bad idea."

"Okay, I'll ask if he ever had a crush on someone at school...another student." Blair sighed. "Someone who wasn't Callisto, that is."
