Sexual Education [08/03] - Thursday Afternoon

"It's too hot to do anything," Becky whined when her class came out to meet that day. They might have noticed she was dressed differently than usual - her leathers had been replaced by a miniskirt and halter top, though her jewelry was still there, and her hair was up for a change. "So instead, boys and girls, we're going to do a Q&A. Ask me anything you'd like as long as it somehow relates to the class, and I'll answer it as best I can, 'kay?"

[Apologies for the lame class, but seriously, ask her whatever you'd like. She'll be honest. I just have a headache and lack inspiration today. :) SP from me until about 2 or 3 EDT]

"Don't you think I know that?" Bel snapped. "You wanna make things worse for me? Be my guest. Go ahead, make me lose my best friend if that'll make you happy."

Blair dropped the phone back into his bag and shook his head. "I don't want you to lose your best friend or Phoebe. Don't you think something needs to happen here? You're torn up about this and Phoebe cast a spell on herself!"

"And you think telling Angel is going to make Phoebe all better?" Bel said. He shook his head. "I don't think so."

"No, I think that telling Phoebe will make Phoebe all better." Blair nodded firmly. "But I think you need to resolve your feelings with Angel first. Either decide to get over him or get with him."

Bel sighed. "I can't 'get with him.' He's not here, and he doesn't feel the same. How many times do I have to say that?"

"Until someone asks Angel, we don't know how he feels." Blair thought for a moment. "What about if I call and just hint at things. Maybe ask him if he has any crushes or if he's ever been attracted to boys or something?"

"...that might be a bad idea."

"Okay, I'll ask if he ever had a crush on someone at school...another student." Blair sighed. "Someone who wasn't Callisto, that is."

"...still a bad idea."

"You know it's a bad idea. You know Angel doesn't feel the same way. You know it will make him act all weird." Blair hissed angrily. "Damnit Bel, would you explain to me what's going on?"

"Because I know he has feelings for someone else," Bel snapped. "I told you. And that person isn't me. But it's not my place to say who it is."

"He told you that he loved someone else and you're assuming that it means he only loves them?" Blair tried very hard not to reach out and shake his friend. "You're an example of being able to love more than one person at a time."

"We're going in circles," Bel said. "I don't have any reason to believe he feels the same about me. And if I told him how I feel, and he doesn't feel the same, it will make things weird between us. I don't wanna take that risk...."

"So why can I ask him about stuff? He won't know who I'm talking about and if he doesn't feel the same then there'll be no weirdness between you."

"If you think it will do any good, go ahead," Bel said. "Just don't mention my name."

"And if I find out that he likes you...will you talk to him then?"

"Sure," Bel said, nodding.

"You'll tell Phoebe about your feelings?" Blair asked.

"...I don't know."

Blair shook his head and sighed. "Just think about it, man. She deserves to know the truth. I think you need to trust that she's going to respect you in the morning."

"I'll think about it," Bel promised.

"Okay." Blair took a deep breath and reached over to pat Bel on the shoulder. "Thanks for telling me."

"Just don't tell anyone," Bel said. "Callisto will kill me. If she hasn't already figured it out."

"I won't tell anyone." Blair groaned a little. "That reminds me, I need to go apologize to someone. I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Okay," Bel said. "And...thanks for talking to me."
