"Hello, campers! Today we will be working on eggshell mosaics! A mosaic is a picture or pattern formed by piecing together small, colored pieces of some kind of hard material. Stone, tile, and glass are used in professional mosaics, but since we're just a summer camp, you get eggshells!"

"Your instructions are simple. Take some of the colored egg shells that are sorted up here at the front of the room, take an object - we have posterboards, boxes, cylinders, and even a couple of vases - and figure out some sort of picture or pattern to put on it, finally gluing the eggshells onto it, showcasing the newborn chick of artistic creativity! Here are some examples of finished projects."

"Our scrapbooks will also involve pictures. While the glue on your mosaics is drying, you should take a disposable camera from the front table, go out into the world, and record what you see, a single still frame of life at a time! There are 24 exposures. Try to take 24 pictures of anything you want, even if you have to get a picture of a tree or your foot!"

"What? Did you think that was a yolk?" Jamie punned. "I'm just trying to get you out of your shell."

"Those are so bad," Molly said with a shake of her head. She still couldn't help grinning anyway.

"Really?" Jamie asked putting on a forlorn face. "I thought they were good. Some of them were even Egg-cellent."

Molly groaned. "You can stop any time now. Really."

"Oh you're no fun," Jamie said picking up his disposable camera and pointing it at Molly. "Now smile for the camera so I can show everyone exactly how non-fun you are."

Molly giggled and smiled as requested while Jamie took the picture.

The one picture turned into several as Jamie started to act like a fashion photographer.

"Beautiful! Wonderful! Now Lean forward and pout like a duck! Gourgeous!"

Then he threw the camera over his shoulder shouting, "And I'm spent!"

"You're very silly, Jamie," Molly said, grinning. "I hope Mr. Dean Professor The Tick has another camera for you to use. Otherwise you won't have any pictures to put in your scrapbook."

Jamie picked up the camera and carefully looked it over as he spoke.

"Hey, nothing wrong with being a little silly. Brightens the mood and hopefully makes all the cute girls grin."

Jamie settled back a bit and checked out his egg-art. "So how've you been lately Molly? I haven't really chatted with you at all recently."

"Lately I've been pretty good, Jamie," Molly said and put her elbow up on the table so she could lean on her hand. "How are you recovering? Is that why you didn't play basketball on Saturday?"

"I'm doing okay," Jamie replied. "But I wasn't well enough to run the court just yet ~~and I didn't get online until after the game was over~~. I was supposed to do something with Marie and the team after the game but that kind of fell through."

"That's too bad," Molly said. "Marie probably had to help sort out everything that happened because of Nadia."

"Yeah, I'm sure that's what it was," Jamie said a little wistfully. "Oh well. Maybe next game."

Molly did note the wistfulness, but didn't comment on it. "I'm sure it'll work out better next time."

"Oh!" she said as she suddenly recalled something. Looking around surreptitiously, Molly leaned just a little bit closer so that no one else could overhear what she said next. "Did you get the email from Pippi?" she whispered.

"I believe it involved a prank an proving our superiority over other floors," Jamie whispered back.

Molly nodded, grinning with delight. "Pippi and I got everything sorted yesterday," she whispered. "We are set to go for Thursday morning."

Jamie's expression took on a shifty look as he looked around the workshop at the potential victims.

"I'm in. Anything I need to do?"

"Just be available on Thursday morning, probably before workshops, to help get the ball rolling. Or you know, whatever."

"Keen. Are we getting codenames?" Jamie asked.

"People can pick code names if they want," Molly said. "Pippi and I hadn't discussed it."

"Okay. Yours is Pinky. I'm Xerox."

Molly giggled. "Okay," she said. "I can live with that."

"Who else is in on it?" Jamie said now looking around with exagerrated shiftiness.

"Everyone on the fifth floor," Molly said in a whisper again. "I don't know who else is actually going to help, but Pippi sent the email to everyone on our floor."

"Egg-cellent," Jamie said bringing his hands to the middle of his chest and wiggling his fingers slightly.
