"Hello, campers! Today we will be working on eggshell mosaics! A mosaic is a picture or pattern formed by piecing together small, colored pieces of some kind of hard material. Stone, tile, and glass are used in professional mosaics, but since we're just a summer camp, you get eggshells!"

"Your instructions are simple. Take some of the colored egg shells that are sorted up here at the front of the room, take an object - we have posterboards, boxes, cylinders, and even a couple of vases - and figure out some sort of picture or pattern to put on it, finally gluing the eggshells onto it, showcasing the newborn chick of artistic creativity! Here are some examples of finished projects."

"Our scrapbooks will also involve pictures. While the glue on your mosaics is drying, you should take a disposable camera from the front table, go out into the world, and record what you see, a single still frame of life at a time! There are 24 exposures. Try to take 24 pictures of anything you want, even if you have to get a picture of a tree or your foot!"

Molly nodded, grinning with delight. "Pippi and I got everything sorted yesterday," she whispered. "We are set to go for Thursday morning."

Jamie's expression took on a shifty look as he looked around the workshop at the potential victims.

"I'm in. Anything I need to do?"

"Everyone on the fifth floor," Molly said in a whisper again. "I don't know who else is actually going to help, but Pippi sent the email to everyone on our floor."

"Egg-cellent," Jamie said bringing his hands to the middle of his chest and wiggling his fingers slightly.

Molly chuckled and shook her head again.

"We should probably go take pictures for our scrapbooks now," she said.

"I think I'll head off into the reserve with my encyclopedia and read alound until a teal dear comes along," Jamie said packing up his bag and camera. "I'll see you around Hayes."
