Rory opened the library, and positioned herself behind the desk with the fan and a book.

[Apologies on the late posting. Am battling the flu - if responses are slow, it's because I fell asleep.]

"At least Peter's cute," Angela decided. "But yeah, not the point. It must have sucked when you snapped out of it."

"Though it was kind of amusing that we ended up arguing about whether Marty was a girl or a boy."

"Liz was Marty," Rory supplied. "That was what she thought her name was. And the bigger issue about Peter was Willow, who I just talked to and she's fine so yay. But at least it was only one little kiss. Poor Anakin and Parker were all over each other."

Angela groaned. "I bet they're both investing in lifetime supplies of Listerine," she said. "Possibly to, like, bathe in. I saw Parker at the campfire and she did not look like herself."

"But I'm glad Willow's okay with the whole thing."

"Because it was a spell. I'm never eating anything Sam makes ever, ever again. You are so lucky." Rory finally looked up. "What's new with you, anyway?"

"Nothing all that interesting," Angela said. "I'm still trying to meet new people. I've been to the beach a couple times. That's about it."

She realized how pathetic this sounded. "I must be the most boring person on the island."

"You are so not," Rory said. "Which of the new kids have you met? I'm pretty sure I've missed a few."

Angela frowned and started ticking them off on her fingers. "Dean. Sam. Marie. Jamie. Alec, for, like, three seconds. Z, because she was in my cabin." She looked puzzled. "I want to say that's it, but I'm probably forgetting someone."

"You met Alec and Dean?" Rory grinned. "Cute, aren't they? Oh! And I don't remember if I told you - Sam Winchester is identical to my ex."

"Very cute, and Dean seems like a good guy, too," Angela said. "He's dating ... Dawn? Oh, so I met her, and Peter Pevensie, and Tyler of course. I think that's everyone. Except Greg." She laughed. "And no, you didn't tell me that about Sam." She grinned. "You're actually tall enough to date someone like that. And you have good taste."

"Dawn's nice - she's in my cabin. You missed all the cabin war stuff," she remarked sadly. "My cabin versus Stickbugs. They made Meerkat invisible."

She blushed. "And the fun thing about Sam? He looks like my Dean. Which, you know, wasn't confusing at all when I greeted him that way."

"I'm not exactly sorry I missed the invisible cabin," Angela said. "I thoughtthe quiet cabins were fine, though. Very ... rustic."

"I forgot you dated a Dean," she said. "And, weird. My mom has friends who always call me Danielle, so I bet he turned around and everything."

Rory nodded. "He did. And my Dean's last name is Forrester, which kind of sounds like Winchester in a crowed, I guess? So everything got compounded."

"The cabins were nice, though," she agreed. "I like the dorms better, mostly because of privacy, you know. There was a poison ivy incident earlier in the summer. Nature and I don't exactly get along."

"I hate poisin ivy," Angela agreed sympathetically. "Got it once at camp and it was gross. Where'd you get it?"

"Along my arm, coupled with a sunburn," Rory admitted. "It was very unfun. Alanna had some ointment that helped all of it, but I learned. Have stayed very, very covered up while outdoors."

"Probably not a bad idea, with the whole fair fair fair thing," Angela said. "Oh, hey, randomly, Bucky is ... still a baby, right?" Because it wasn't like he would be doing anything interesting yet.

"No, he aged thirty years since you last saw him," Rory deadpanned. "Of course he is!"

"Well, it's not like I know what babies do, or whatever," Angela said. "But he's good and your mom's good? And in Fandom, he could be 30 by now, probably."

"...point," she admitted. "But yeah, he and mom are good. Luke's already being all sporty with him. It's cute."

"Awwwww," Angela said. "And how's that friend of yours with the braid?"

"Said friend is great," Rory said with a smile. "Have you seen him since you've been back?"

"Not that I can remember," Angela mused. "Should find him and say hi, huh?"

"He's usually easy to find. I'll poke him and tell him you said hi next time I see him, anyway," Rory said.

"Awesome," Angela said. "And I'll see you in photography tomorrow, okay?"
