Arts & Crafts Workshop #2, Camp Dining Hall, 07.17.06, Afternoon
[OOC: Class Info Post is updated! Roster and all kinds of other stuff can be found there. Class Info Post]
"Okay, campers! As you may have noticed, it's very warm today. But you're not the only ones feeling the heat! Nay, there are also birds - and probably squirrels - to think about! That's why we're making bird baths to help nature get a break from the heat!"
"Up at the front here, we have clay pots and clay saucers of various sizes. It's simple enough to put them together: just put the saucer on the pot! And then the fun starts. We have paint, brushes, sponges, decals, and pretty much whatever else you might want to decorate a bird bath with! Do your thing, then use the sealer spray on it to preserve your designs!"
"You got a good start with your scrapbooks last week. This week, I want you to start detailing it with text. Whether you want to write about your experiences over the past week, or just use random words to express your feelings. Think about how you want to use them. Up at the front table we have colored pens, markers, old magazines you can cut letters and words from, scissors, and gluesticks. Get creative!"

Once she was satisfied with her mixtures, she pressed her hands in the white paint and made hand prints various places on the pot and saucer. Next, she pressed her palms in the lightest shape of pink and repeated the process. She went on this way with all the shades she'd mixed, ending with red.
Re: Bird Baths! [WS2]
He heaved the biggest clay saucer that he could find over to his workspace and started to paint it entirely white, leaving room for a large "R" on one side and wondering the entire time if Fearow and Pidgeot ever did have a chance to bathe around here, what with the puny dishes that were offered to them.

daisymutant asparagus in the corner of one page and a bag of salt in the other corner. Then he somewhat sloppily cut out a bunch of letters from a magazine and "wrote" Everything's louder when nobody's talking.Re: Scrapbooking! [WS2]
After discussing Scrapbooking with The Tick (whose uniform was certainly a fantastic sight to behold), he finally decided to draw a Pokeball, to signify the reason he missed the first class... and most of the last term of workshops... and then he casually got to work, writing out the Team Rocket motto in big, sloppy letters around the somewhat sloppy ball.

Re: Talk to Tick [WS2]
"Excuse me, I missed the last class and I'm afraid that I've never scrapbooked before. Would you be able to give me a quick idea of what scrapbooking is all about?"
Re: Talk to Tick [WS2]
Tick looked in a box under the table and pulled out another book. "Here you go! Last week we started just by adding something to it. It didn't matter what. The first thing you think of, essentially. This week is specifically about adding some kind of textual element."
Re: Talk to Tick [WS2]
Quizzical though he may have been, he still reached out and took the empty scrapbook.
"So I'll have to do both, then? Add something, and then write something in it?"
Wow. That sounded like... work, or something.

Re: Display Your Projects [WS2]
It wasn't big enough for, say, a pidgeot, but he figured that it would get the job done.
Maybe later, he would leave it outside and try to catch the birds as they land in it for their bath.
