Library [07/12]

After Photography, Rory finished making sure all the copies of the newsletter were out and spamming the flist before opening the library.

As soon as she had the door propped open, she set her things down and went back out to drag the rather large fan she had brought with her.

Making sure it was on the oscillating function so nothing would blow away, she contentedly curled up behind the desk with her book.

"Like, aide schedules? I've been doing Wednesdays and Tyler had Mondays, though I guess, since you're back. We should probably get new aides." She lowered her voice a little. "Apparently Herr Wagner just...disappeared and we have the library all to ourselves."

Angela's eyes widened. "Disappeared? Nuh-uh. This place must, like, repel librarians. No wonder they don't want to risk losing another one."

"I have workshops Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. OK if I opn Thursdays?"

"I know, I heard from Willow and Bridgey," Rory said, nodding. "I think it's more about the season than like, Jesus being born, or else I'd protest more."

"I think that's, like, what they want to do?" Angela said, frowning. "But there was a Christmas pageant, too. So I think they just aren't thinking about this stuff at all, which is weird since the school is so, so diverse."

She shrugged. "I'm not protesting yet? But it'll be interesting to find out what Principal Washburn says."

"I told them that if they needed a signature, I'd sign any petitions. But yeah, I think it's mostly that Christmas is what's recognized as the main winter holiday." She sighed. "I mean, there are people like Anakin and Aeryn and the people from Caprica who have no idea about Christmas, so it's weird."
