"Morning, dudes! Today's my last day, and it's detention, and that's..." Ted trailed off in thought. "Actually, that's pretty much like when I was in high school. Anyway, war is hell and so is detention. So today, each of you dudes will face off with a most heinous spawn of Hell and you'll have to escape and/or defeat the bad dude. Okay? Excellent!"

There were five doors in front of them. Each door was a different color and had the student's name on it. "You can take in whatever you've got on you, but weapons and magic won't do any good. They're just hologrammy things. Step up, dudes. Oh, and at the end? You all get Twinkies."

"Thanks dude!" Ted grinned. "I might be back some day. But not tomorrow. Or next week. Well, maybe next week, who knows?" He shrugged. "It all depends on how long it takes to save the future. That sounds like it could take a while."

"Wow. I didn't know you had a heavy destiny like that. What does saving the future involve?"

Ted thought about it for a moment, then scratched his head and shrugged. He grinned. "I guess I'll find out when I get there! I wonder if they have flying cars."

"Oooh, that'd be totally cool. Do you think they have things like cybernetic eyes?"

"Probably! And maybe even self-heating tacos!"

"...Dude., forget a replcament eye, I want some self-heating tacos."

"Totally! A dude after my own heart."

"Well, I know that whoever or whatever replaces you as music teacher, there's no way they'll be as righteous as you."

"Aw, thanks dude. You've been a most excellent student. Make sure Fandom always has music. It'd be a most heinous place if it didn't."

Pip saluted. "I consider it my most solemn duty. Assuming that, when you come back, you bring me a self-heating taco."

Ted grinned. "Of course!"

Pip nodded. "You're the dude, sir."
