When the students were all in the Danger Shop ~~which they had totally handwavily been told was the location for the day, okay?~~, Becky smiled.

"Hi. Last workshop. What we're doing here today is putting everything you've learned to good use."

She pressed a button on the remote, and the Danger Shop transformed into a poorly-lit, crowded bar. Onstage, a pretty blonde girl no older than eighteen was dancing and swinging a lasso.

And yes - it was all in black and white, as were the students themselves, save for a few splashes of color here and there.

"Your assignment, boys and girls, is to pick someone up. Find a seat at the bar or a table, and within minutes, someone'll come along. You're to make small talk with them, and then get the person in question to want to have sex with you. Make sure to specify what you're into, and that you use protection. People in Kadie's usually like to know these things. You have until the end of class today to accomplish this goal. People who make it into compromising positions get cookies."

She held up three fingers. "Few rules before I turn you loose. One - if you get far enough to where the virtual person wants to have sex with you, your portion of the Danger Shop will dim immediately, and your virtual person will disappear. No getting me in trouble. Two - order what you want from Shellie, but if you act drunk, you're getting detention. And three - things in Kadie's can get kinda rough. Be nice to the other patrons, and they'll be nice to you. And if they aren't, I'll take care of it. Oh, and if you have a significant other to worry about, don't fret, guys. They're virtual people, and you don't even have to touch most of 'em to let 'em know what you want. It's all about the talking, baby."

She smiled. "Have fun, kiddies."

She laughed, low and rich and throaty. "Yeah? Here for Nancy," she nodded to the stage, "or just the people-watchin'?"

Sawyer's voice was husky, thanks to the straight shots. "Mostly the people-watchin' but now that you're here, darlin', my attention has been stolen." Bringing out a pack of cigarettes, he stuffed one in his mouth and offered her the pack.

Dallas smiled and took one. "Thanks. So. What d'you think should be done about this attention-stealin' I've been up to? D'you know Basin City, or are you a stranger to the place entirely? 'Cause I know I'd give a hell of a tour...."

Lighting her cigarette first, he leaned forward and touched the end of his with hers in order to light it. Inhaling and then exhaling, he breathed out smoke through his nose as he looked at her. "Brand new. Seems like I'll be need the grand tour then." Licking his lips, enjoying the nicotine and liquor mixing together.

"Ah, then you'll have to see Old Town soon," she said with a wicked smile. "S'where I'm from."

"Oh?" Matching her wicked smile with his own dimpled version. "Where do I sign up for the tour then?" Arching a brow at her curiously.

"Righ here, babe," she drawled. "We've got all kinds of fun there. If, y'know, you're lookin' for a good time."

Sawyer snubbed out his cigarette after taking one more hit. He grinned at her as he slid off his stool and wrapped an arm around her waist, exhaling the smoke above her head before leaning close to her ear. "Always ready for good time, sweetheart." Husky twang working it's magic.

"Yeah?" She slid her gaze along the length of his body to meet his eyes. "Anythin' in particular?"

Suavely Sawyer dipped his head further and nipped on her earlobe. "Give me a bed and I'll show you a good time." A low whisper.

"You sure you need a bed, cowboy?" she murmured, smirking. "There's an alley out back with shadows and tons of wallspace...."

Well, he needed the grade..."Let's go then. Walls will come in handy." Stepping back and holding out his hand for her to take, a dimpled grin on his face.

Dallas took his hand. "You've got somethin' with you, sweetheart? Protection-wise?"

Sliding out a condom, he flashed it in her face. "Always, darlin'." Taking her hand, he let her take him out to where she had in mind.

And then suddenly everything went very dark, and Becky's voice called, "Good work, whoever's good mood I just dampened. Go back into Kadie's and cool off. Dallas'll be gone when the lights are up again."

And so she was, indeed, gone, when things resumed their normal rhythm and lighting.

Sawyer looked around and felt her gone, he gave a sigh and headed back into Kadies to take a seat at the bar again. Well, that was intense.
