Sexual Education [06/15] - Thursday Afternoon

"Hey," Becky said, nodding to the group. "So, today? Is a very, very easy day. We're going to make...pieces of art for the art fair."

She gestured at each of their tables. "You'll see you have condoms, permanent markers, Silly Putty - and newspapers, because you're children and that will delight you - rubber cement, water, paint - and yeah, it's body paint, but it'll work on latex - feathers, glue, tape, elbow macaroni, glitter, pipe cleaners, and both pudding and Jell-O."

"Use these things to create art," she said. "The only thing you have to use is at least one condom. And yes, you can just blow them up and make balloon animals. Oh, and your artwork can be frozen or refrigerated until the fair tomorrow, if you go that route. Try to keep things clean, 'cause remember that all the school official types are going to see this. Work in pairs or alone. I don't care."

Alec was filling a condom with pudding. There was already a condom filled with cherry Jell-O that had precarious pipe-cleaner legs and was covered in glitter. It was kind of hard to tell if he had any goal or was just having fun with it.

He might not have been avoiding Dean, but he wasn't out looking for him, either.

When he spotted Alec, Dean moved over to a place near him. "No underwear?" he said dryly.

"I don't in my body, either," he said, snickering as he deftly tied off his condom. "You have fun?"

"Yeah, actually living out the cliche nightmare of waking up in class naked is a ton of laughs." Dean laid aside the third pipe cleaner hunter and went to work on the filling the condom with pudding. "Although," he continued, "it's good to be back in my body, with or without pants." He glanced up at Alec. "How are you doing?"

"I'm great," he said, carefully impaling the pudding-condom with a pipecleaner to make another pair of legs. "Definitely good to be back."

"I was still feeling kinda wiped this morning before we switched back," Dean commented, carefully tying the pudding filled condom off. "Do they always hit that hard?"

"No," he said. "And I'm not discussing this." Alec drew an ":D" face on the end of the condom and then added a few feathers down the thing's back.

"All right," Dean gave in. "This probably isn't the best place for that conversation anyway." He dug into his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief twisted up into a little packet and shoved it across the table towards Alec. "You'll be wanting those back though."

Alec reached out for it, sliding it into his pocket quickly. "Thanks." He gathered some macaroni and crushed it into shards, then brushed red paint over them.

Dean shrugged. "They're yours. Appreciate you giving them to me."

Alec didn't answer, but his pudding and Jell-O monsters seemed to be tromping all over bloody macaroni pieces. Which may have been less artsy and more disturbing, really.

Dropping it for now, Dean looked down at Alec's creations. "Is that like a condom Godzilla and Rodan?"

Alec blinked and frowned slightly at his 'art' piece. "Yeah. Sure, that works."

"You should make little helicopters to attack them," Dean suggested, grabbing some silly putty and shaping it into something that vaguely resembled a helicopter shape.

Alec smirked, watching Dean. "Are they going to be helicopters on the ground? Or can you make them fly?"

Dean looked at the monster tableau for a moment, then grabbed some pipecleaners and made rotors for his helicopter. After those were attached he deliberately smushed in one side and crumpled its blades then laid it on top of the macaroni at one of the monster's feet.

"It's an ex-copter," he said, grinning at Alec.

Alec laughed and looked at what was becoming an action set piece. "Think I should add some people running away?"

"Absolutely. It's not a real monster attack without screaming crowds running away."

Picking up some putty, Alec made a tiny person-shaped thing and then half-squashed its legs beneath the foot of a condom-monster. "There. Now they really know they should be running."

"Oh yeah." Dean made a couple more putty people and draped them artfully around the helicopter. "Pilot and annoying news reporter who kept demanding to get closer to get better pictures," he explained.

Alec made a couple of tiny people and poked holes in their heads. "Screaming like morons while the monsters pick them off," he said, putting them in the pudding-condom's path. "Stupid people."

"Those are always the ones that become monster chow," Dean agreed. He took more of the putty and made a car, then put it in the claws of one of the monsters. "Gotta give them ammo to throw."

Alec made a few more people, all of them running away or post-smushed or eaten. "There. ...I think this is an awesome art project."

"It really is," Dean said, grinning conspiratorially at Alec.

Alec grinned in a very young-looking way, cocking his head as he looked over the scene. "Don't know what the hell this has to do with Sex Ed, but it's fun."
