"Right, Nadia can have the free shot, and Seras will have to take her chances since I won't go easy on her. And then I'm done feeling as though I did something wrong in a dream, because that's just stupid anyway."

Seras laughed.

Then, she slapped herself in the forehead.

Mistake.

"I can't believe I didn't remember this," she said with a wince, "But, in first aid class, I'd talked to Dr. Reid about how I was feeling this morning. I was sort've worried because I didn't remember anything. Just felt really hung over. She asked me some questions about how I woke up and whether I felt...hurt or anything. Anyhow, long story short, other people are having difficulties remembering yesterday, too. So, it probably is a Fandom Thing."

Well, at least it's not just us, then," Nadia said.

Then thwapped Walter (gently) upside the head.

Surprisingly, she really did feel better.

Yeah, I don't think anybody did anything bad yesterday... I don't remember it very well either, but everybody seems okay. So why worry about it?"

She did not thwap Walter with anything.

"Agreed," replied Seras.

Then, she took advantage of Nadia's thwapping Walter to launch a poke attack at his right side.

Walter took the thwapping and grabbed Seras' finger. "You aren't as sneaky as a butler yet."

Sera grinned.

"Give me time. I did get the drop on you with a pillow, after all."

Nadia aimed for Walter's other side while he was distracted with Seras.

Pippi poked at the back of his head as well.

Butlers only have two hands after all.

Walter twisted to grab at Pippi's hand, since he didn't have any niggling feelings of guilt with her. At least none that were recent, and the others were Not To Be Thought Of.

"This is some sort of female conspiracy now."

"We're the Alliance of Three Beautiful Girls."

"He knows to much now!" Pippi cried in mock concern as she pretended she couldn't get her hand free from Walter's grasp.

With her free hand, Seras grabbed another fish stick and brandished it at Walter's throat.

"Unhand her, you brute. Or I'll scuff your shoes!"

"She's fighting dirty now." Hopefully this was cathartic for his friends, because Walter was going to put up with it.

"Less chatting, more unhanding."

Nadia poked away with abandon. "Unhand, or I'll give you sleeping pills and we'll recruit you to the Alliance."

"We may also shave your head and paint you purple. Depending on our mood."

Walter decided that the best defense, when confronted with three poking girls, was to poke back. So he poked Seras on one side and Nadia on the other, having to tolerate Pippi's head poking as the price one paid.

Seras squeaked and dropped her fish stick, not seeing where it landed.

She aimed a few pokes of her own while both Walter's hands were occupied.

Why poke his head when she could grab his hands so he can be poked more freely by her allies?

"Free at last!"

Seras gave a trimphant cry and began to poke in earnest.

"Victory to the TBG!"

Since she was already sitting, she couldn't drop to the floor, which was probably a good thing. So Nadia just squeaked and kept poking, aiming for spots she knew were ticklish.

Restrained by Pippi and poked on both sides, Walter was forced to do something decidedly unbutlerly.

He giggled.

Seras observed where Nadia was poking Walter and tried to see if those spots were as effective on her side of the butler as well.

"Do you yield, sir?"

Between giggles, Walter got out, "Never!"
