Nadia scowled playfully as she continued poking.

Secret weapon time.

The lobster noise came out decidedly mournful at the fact that Walter wasn't going to yield.

That wasn't fair.

"Yield." Giggle. "I yield!" Giggle. "No fair."

Seras wrinkled her nose.

"You ought to copyright that noise. I think it could be used to subdue rioters. Using the proper megaphone, of course."

Nadia lobster noised cheerfully at Seras.

"With the antennae, I could create world peace."

Seras winced.

Then laughed.

"Lobstertopia," she said, recognizing the noise from when Walter'd demonstrated some of the creature languages he'd learned.

"We would have to name the Capital in Anna's honor."

"Who is Anna?" asked Seras, taking a sip of her coffee which had now gone cold.

"Anna's this lobster Pippi and I met while we were wee," Walter said by way of non-explanation.

Nadia grinned at the memory of four year old Walter. "That was a good weekend."

Pippi nodded.

"I almost yern for it."

Seras looked confused.

"You three knew eachother when you were children?"

"Not exactly. One weekend, we just woke up and most of the students here were wee. I was four. For the whole weekend. It was one of the best weekends ever."

"That sounds fun," said Seras, a bit wistfully.

Nadia nodded. "I was nine. We took over Empire for awhile."

"We pretty much took over everywhere."

"And you can remember it."

Walter grinned broadly. "And Nadia, Pippi, and I were married."

"You've been remiss in your husbandly duties by the way... You're supposed to clean everything as well as cooking."

"That's right. That's your job."

"You two haven't been supporting me in the manner to which I'm accustomed, so we're even."

Nadia thwapped him again. "Oh? Should I be using a ruler?"

Walter stuck his tongue out at Nadia. "That's your last free smack. I'm going to tickle you after the next one."

"Oh yeah?" Nadia thwapped him one more time and then raised her arms in defense as she backed off her seat.
