Archery Workshop #4, 6/13, Danger Shop, Afternoon

The setup should be starting to look kind of familiar to the students by now. Grass, sun, bows, arrows, targets. However, this week, the targets are somewhat smaller than they were the week before. Not absurdly small, just smaller.

Miho is sitting in a lounge chair under a shade umbrella, where she can watch all of her students, hopefully without getting shot. The sign-in sheet is on a card table next to her, along with a plate of doughnuts and a pitcher of somewhat sour lemonade with a stack of plastic cups.

On the portable blackboard is this message to the students: Shoot things. Not each other. Good luck! with a big smiley face drawn under it.

The ninja is in a disturbingly good mood, it would seem.

Dean amused himself by zooming his sight in and out as he shot, and wondering if people would notice he wasn't in his own body.

He was wearing his own clothes and the face was the same that he was used to staring back at him; the only visual difference was that his hair was longer. Maybe everyone would assume his hair had just grown really fast overnight?

Sam glanced over at Dean after his first few shots, trying to figure out why he felt like something was off with his brother. After all the time they'd spent together, even a small change was enough to get his attention.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

Figured Sammy would notice something was up. Dean was actually a little relieved at that; family should be able to tell when you've bodyswapped.

He gave his brother a small smirk. "Guess that depends on how we're defining okay."

Sam finally realized it was Dean's hair that was different, and he was about to comment when he noticed the other change - the barcode tattoo that was distinctly Alec's.

"I would define okay as not being in a workshop you didn't sign up for, and not trading clothes with my brother," he replied, sighing. "What are you doing here?"

"We didn't exactly trade clothes," Dean clarified.

"Oh, so you stole them? Why does that not surprise me?"

Dean rolled his eyes. "Sammy, it's me."

The "Sammy" would have been enough, if it weren't for the fact that Alec had decided to latch onto that name too, to annoy him. "Nice try. I can see your tattoo, idiot."

"Then explain how I know that when you four, you wanted to dress up as a ballerina for Hallowe'en," Dean said, picking the first embarrassing fact that no one but he and Sam would know that he could think of. "We didn't trade clothes, we traded bodies."

"Oh my god," Sam said, his eyes wide. "Dean?! What the hell happened? Are you okay? And could you have possibly mentioned the ballerina thing any louder?" he added, sighing.

"I possibly could've yeah," Dean smirked, then got serious. "I"m okay. Just... not entirely human at the moment. Which isn't all that bad actually. I'm dealing better than Alec is anyway. It's a spell that didn't do what it's supposed to. Willow's working on trying to get a fix."

"So Alec's in your body?" Sam made a small disgusted noise. "You'd better make sure he doesn't do anything you'll have to pay for later." He looked at Dean curiously. "You were trying to do a spell?"

Dean snorted. "Yeah right. As if. I wasn't trying to do a spell. Willow was trying to do a spell. Granted one I asked her to try, but... This wasn't supposed to happen. And so far all Alec's done is complain about being human and slow and bruised. I'm trying not to take offense."

Miho was quite observant, she twigged to the hair and the barcode pretty quickly. First that red guy, now this. She's had enough of this nonsense.

She wondered if she's get in trouble for whacking him upside the head. Probably so. Pity.

Dawn waved, then looked at Alec, confused. "Alec? Since when are you in this class?"

Dean smiled at how quickly Dawn could tell Alec from him. Well, their bodies, anyway. "It's not actually Alec. Well, not in mind anyway."

"What do you mean 'not in mind'?" She asked, still looking at him. "And why are you wearing Dean's clothes?"

"Uh huh." She put her hands on her hips. "Y'know, this is kind of obnoxious, switching places just to see who can tell you apart. Tell Dean I passed."

"Look it, really is me," Dean said. "There was this spell that kinda went wrong and Alec and I switched bodies."

Dean looked at her with narrowed eyes for a moment, then said, "You told me that your mom used to call you little punkin belly."

Dawn shot a look around the room to make sure no one had heard that, but accepted that it was actually her boyfriend in Alec's body. "What happened? How long will it last? Is it weird? Does it feel the same as your body?"

Dean chuckled at her barrage of questions. "Let's see if I can answer them in order. What happened -- Willow was trying to cast a protective spell I asked her for. It didn't go as planned. How long will it last -- we're still working on it. Willow's trying to work out what went wrong so she can put us back where we belong. Is it weird -- yes. Though at least since Alec looks like me, I recognise the face in the mirror and my clothes still fit. Does it feel the same as my body -- yes and no. It does when I don't think about it, but when I do, Alec's got a lot of bells and whistles that I don't."

"Willow?" Dean might not notice it, but Dawn's jaw tightened a small amount. "She did a spell that did this?"

"Bells and whistles?" She asked curiously, trying not to stomp out of archery and go yell at Willow.
