Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

The main campfire had been turned into a tropical paradise... without the tropics. There were leis and grass skirts to wear, tropical music playing, a buffet table, and the infamous Limbo Stick of Destiny, an artifact brought back to America from World War II. Noody knows what happens when a person wins a limbo competition involving the Limbo Stick of Destiny, but several experts on the subject suggest that "absolutely nothing happens except maybe you win a little trophy."

It was party time at the Fandom High Summer Camp.

[OOC: OCD is up. Yes, there is pig, poi, and sometimes the band will switch from generic tropical music to 60's beach movie music, or maybe reggae, or Raffi. They're unpredictable like that.

The luau takes place during a long break in the rain that

"I couldn't make it stay away," Peter said, defensively. "It cried."

"Pushover."

"Am not."

"Dude, you let a gnome sleep with you becuase it cried. That's pretty much the definition of pushover." Not that Dean didn't have his own pushover moments, most of them having to deal with a little brother's sad eyes, but he wasn't about to admit it.

"It was like a puppy," Peter said. "How do you make a puppy sleep out in the cold?"

"There's a way between 'out in the cold' and 'under the blankets with you'," Dean pointed out. "Could've just given him his own pillow and blanket."

"I tried. He kept crawling in," Peter said, facepalming. "I'm not going to hear the end of this, am I?"

Dean made a show of thinking it over. "Probably not, no," he finally said with a grin.

Peter laughed. "We can't all be in the cabin of Pretty. Some of us have to make our own fun."

"Or have other cabins make that fun for you," Dean teased.

"Technically speaking, we made the original fun with the ducks," Peter pointed out.

"True," Dean admitted. "And sleeping with a gnome is probably nicer than sleeping with a duck."

Peter grinned at the memory. "The ducks didn't stick around though. That was a strictly in and out deal. But it was fun while it lasted."

"You've certainly made use of your cabin time, I'll give you that."

"I'll be sad to see it go," Peter replied. "It's been a good few weeks. But speaking of making the most of it, didn't I hear something on the radio about your cabin and some game?"

"Game?" Dean said blankly.

Peter shook his head, "I don't remember. Someone seemed to be very pleased on the radio about stuff going on in your cabin."

"You mean the kissing thing on Monday?"

"Kissing thing?" Peter asked. "I suppose..." He paused. "You played kissing games with your cabin of mostly guys?"

"Jaye provided free alcohol and kissed Rory," Dean explained.

Peter's brain broke. "Jaye. Kissed. Rory?"

Dean smirked and nodded. "Yeah. At length."

"Um," Peter said intelligently. "Why?"

Dean coughed. "There might have been some boy kissing in return."

"And now you're having me on," Peter said. "Nearly fell for it too."
