Fandom Library, Wednesday, July 2nd
There was a weird beach tableau happening in the library today. Books - beach reads, obviously - were lounging around, while Beach Boys played from some portable speakers. Some books rested on towels, some wear floaties around their covers, a few are clustered around a couple of different coolers. Arden had no idea of what could even be in those coolers. What snacks and beverages would books even bring to the beach?
Not curious enough to actually tread into their space, mind.
At least not until she saw a pair of books with a bottle of suntan lotion between them, the paper cover pulled slightly askew. "Okay, absolutely not!" she called. "We do not put lotion onto the books!"

Re: Talk to the Aide
And then looked confused at the book beach party.
Re: Talk to the Aide
"Oh hey!" Arden said brightly. "It's happening! That's awesome!" She looked up at Gray and attempted to gauge his body language. "...It is awesome, right?"
Re: Talk to the Aide
"He also told me to ask you who hurt you with blueberries in their potato salad." He just wanted a word with them.
Re: Talk to the Aide
"The foster family I had when Duke found me," Arden said with a sigh. "I spent a whole summer not eating potato salad. They also used Miracle Whip."
Re: Talk to the Aide
And he considered this information and, after a lengthy pause, asked the only question he could think of: "Who hurt them?"
Re: Talk to the Aide
"Dunno," Arden said. "I was seven when I was with them, so I missed a lot of grownup stuff."
Re: Talk to the Aide
"Are we sure they were human? Maybe there was something wrong with their taste buds." Something very, very wrong.
Re: Talk to the Aide
"Well, they didn't believe me about the angels that were hurting me, so...who knows?" Arden said, ultra casually. "Pretty sure they were human, though."
Re: Talk to the Aide
Hey, you know where blueberries did belong? Waffles, that's where. Case closed, waffles win.

Re: Talk to the Aide
...honestly, tough call.
"I'm a little scared that if I tell Raiden someone actually did that, he'll try it," Gray confessed. "And then he might cry. I don't want to make Raiden cry!"
