Summer Shenanigans [Wednesday mid-morning]

Anakin was surrounded by rubber chickens and harmonicas. Completely normal Wednesday, right? There were also t-shirts, blindfolds, and two pool noodles.

Anakin picked up his megaphone. "We will be playing a modified version of tag! All but two of you will be wearing rubber chickens on your feet." As you do.

Anakin held up the rubber chicken. It squeaked menacingly. "Half of you will also have harmonicas in your mouths. Your goal is to remain silent so that the blindfolded swatters can not discover you and hit you with their pool noodle."

This seemed wholesome.

"Listen for your names and then come get your shirts!"

He smiled. "Kitty and Gladio, come retrieve your blindfolds and pool noodles. You're it."

And then he rattled off everyone else who was playing, and if they also got a harmonica in their mouths:

Vi was remarkably quiet as she made her way over towards Steph's general vicinity. She made some very sad harmonica noises at her though.

Well, that just made Steph snicker before she could help herself, which resulted in a much louder, much weirder harmonica sound than she'd ever intended on making.

It wasn't that Vi wanted Steph to get noodled, but she did like making her laugh, so she made an even sadder harmonica noise.

The narrative was going to refrain from comment in a public comm. Ahem.

Steph waved both hands frantically at Vi, which only made her rock back and forth, making a flurry of squeaky noises on the damned rubber chickens.

Accompanied by rapid harmonica wheezing as she tried desperately not to laugh.

They might as well have a speaker blaring "Two idiots right here! Come and whack 'em!"

Vi blew a kiss at Steph, accompanied by a somewhat less sad harmonica noise.

Hopefully everyone was enjoying this insight into the mating rituals of the greater lesbian dumbass.

Steph grinned and flashed a heart sign with both hands at Vi, batting her eyelashes ridiculously in a bid to not be the only one laughing through a harmonica here.

Look, they were just adding an educational element to the shenanigans! They were helping!
