Welcome Party for the Summer Students and Staff

Despite the slightly overcast sky, the weather is still good for welcoming all of the new arrivals for the Fandom High summer session. The graduation decorations (and gremlin debris) have been cleared from the front lawn, and replaced with tables of information packets, food, and drinks. A series of signs point the students to the information table first, where they can pick up their room assignments from the office drones, and then continue on to the food tables to mingle.

And no, there are no inflatable gremlins around today. It's far too early to start scaring the new folks. That's what the mingling section is for!

Sakurazaki was cranky. Sakurazaki was tired. Flying was no picnic for her, and, as she she breached the front lawn and looked at the slight chaos of this first day, two thoughts came to mind.

Damn, I'm tired. and ...It's almost as if I never left Mahora....

Heaving a sigh and resituating her meager belongings, Sakurazaki set a straight line for the info table, not paying attention to if her ponytail whaps anyone in the face inadvertantly, and collects her info packet. She goes immediately to her rooming assignment.

"Luna Lovegood," she mutters as she reads, struggling with the allitrative Ls. She notes that her own name is allitrative. So is Konoka's.

She stares, not sure whether to smile or scowl.
