Welcome Party for the Summer Students and Staff

Despite the slightly overcast sky, the weather is still good for welcoming all of the new arrivals for the Fandom High summer session. The graduation decorations (and gremlin debris) have been cleared from the front lawn, and replaced with tables of information packets, food, and drinks. A series of signs point the students to the information table first, where they can pick up their room assignments from the office drones, and then continue on to the food tables to mingle.

And no, there are no inflatable gremlins around today. It's far too early to start scaring the new folks. That's what the mingling section is for!

Miles waited until the crush around the refreshment table had subsided a bit before snagging some of the food. It would be bad form to break a bone on his first day hour.

Aeryn's mostly been hanging off to the side, mostly checking things out rather than interacting with anyone. She gives Miles a little nod of acknowledgement. She's pretty sure she'd know if she'd seen him around.

Miles' eyebrows rose at the sight of the -- he hastilly deleted a few terms just incase she could read his mind -- and instead offered a slight, but Vorishly suave and casual bow. Or so he hoped. If not, he looked like a duckling bopping up and down.
