Welcome Party for the Summer Students and Staff

Despite the slightly overcast sky, the weather is still good for welcoming all of the new arrivals for the Fandom High summer session. The graduation decorations (and gremlin debris) have been cleared from the front lawn, and replaced with tables of information packets, food, and drinks. A series of signs point the students to the information table first, where they can pick up their room assignments from the office drones, and then continue on to the food tables to mingle.

And no, there are no inflatable gremlins around today. It's far too early to start scaring the new folks. That's what the mingling section is for!

[OOC: All right folks, have at it!]

She flipped her cloak back and unbuckled her sword, laying it down on the table. Then she also placed two daggers with the sword. She reluctantly swung her quiver of arrows off of her back and placed them on the table as well. When she was holding her bow, she looked at the lady in charge with some trepidation.

"M'lady... must I turn over the bow, as well? It is useless as a weapon without the arrows."

She was clutching the bow so tightly that her knuckles had turned white. "It was my mother's..."

Gwynn looked at her for a long moment and then nodded, relinquishing her hold on her bow.

"Alright, m'lady."

"I appreciate that, M'lady," Gwynn said respectfully.
