As the sun disappeared below the horizon on Monday evening, large, bright lights came on, illuminating the front lawn of Fandom High. There was a stage area with several chairs for the administration and special guests, as well as a podium and microphone. On the grass in front of the stage are rows and rows of chairs for parents, guardians, siblings and friends of the graduating seniors, as well as enough chairs for any faculty, townies and students who decide to attend. There is an aisle free down the middle and reserved seats in the front row for the graduating seniors.

All in all, the place looks fantastic decked out in blue and gold thanks to the efforts of the freshmen on the graduation committee.

Oh yes. Then there's the inflatable gremlin filled with helium off to the side that's the size of the building. It looks kind of cute, actually, just floating there while tied to the ground.

Willow leaned over and waved, accidentally pressing the flash on the camera. "Oops. Another picture of the floor."

"Hi! Oh, you're the Parker I'm not supposed to talk to, right?" She looked innocent. "Why is that?"

Parker grinned. "Because I have pictures of Xander in leather? Or maybe because of various times I was there when he embarassed himself? Too close to call. What I'm wondering is why I shouldn't be talking to you?"

"I've known him since we were five," is all she said.

"That would do it." Parker grinned. "I think we need to compare notes. I've been wondering about you since February."

She shrugged. "I'm really nothing special."

Parker looked skeptical. "You're going to a school for magic, you grew up on a Hellmouth, and you've fought vampires for the last couple years at least. You helped us out massively with the Diagon Alley thing in England, and much amusement at Professor Skeeter's expense. If nothing else? You're friends with Xander. So coffee and talking at the party afterward should happen as soon as possible."

Bridge looks slightly startled at the mention of "party" before realising that Parker obviously meant the aftergrad, since she hadn't even been there for Saturday's drinking game.

"Well, when you put it that way..." Willow grinned.

Parker's smirk widened. "Cool."
