Fandom High Graduation Ceremony Class of 2006 - Monday night

[OOC: This post is open for slow-play. Take your time and please remember that this is all about the seniors!]

As the sun disappeared below the horizon on Monday evening, large, bright lights came on, illuminating the front lawn of Fandom High. There was a stage area with several chairs for the administration and special guests, as well as a podium and microphone. On the grass in front of the stage are rows and rows of chairs for parents, guardians, siblings and friends of the graduating seniors, as well as enough chairs for any faculty, townies and students who decide to attend. There is an aisle free down the middle and reserved seats in the front row for the graduating seniors.

All in all, the place looks fantastic decked out in blue and gold thanks to the efforts of the freshmen on the graduation committee.

Oh yes. Then there's the inflatable gremlin filled with helium off to the side that's the size of the building. It looks kind of cute, actually, just floating there while tied to the ground.

Angel was totally nervous since, zomg, he had to go on stage.

He somehow managed not to trip over his robe though.

Barely.

Grams's eyes narrowed as she watched Angel get his diploma. She wished she could put her finger on just what about him was bothering her. She applauded politely nonetheless.

Willow was running the videocamera, but the picture might have been a bit shaky because she was so busy applauding.

"Yay, Angel!"

Angel looked surprised to hear anyone in the guest section cheering for him. He did a double take when he saw who it was. Then he gave her a small, friendly wave, since after all it was Willow.

Willow waved back again, bouncing, and took a bunch of digital pictures. Then she wondered if vampires could be photographed.

Probably would have been better if she'd considered that ahead of time and brought a sketch artist or something.

Parker whistled as he went across the stage, amazed he wasn't stumbling. "Go, Wings!"

Marty shouts something incoherent and gives Angel the thumbs-up sign.

You got to hand it to a guy who's almost a quarter of a century old and goes back to get his high school diploma.

Faithful's meowing drowned out anything Alanna may have shouted. The girl was clapping though.

Veronica cheered loudly and enthusiastically for Angel. Mostly to drown out the voice in her head that kept reminding her he was leaving.

Aeryn feels really odd clapping, but she's definitely smiling.

She feels odd clapping? Xander's busy compromising - he can clap or grin, but not both or his brain would break, because Angel. So he goes with door number one.

Oh all right, fine. He smiles too. But just a little and totally not when Angel is looking.
