As the sun disappeared below the horizon on Monday evening, large, bright lights came on, illuminating the front lawn of Fandom High. There was a stage area with several chairs for the administration and special guests, as well as a podium and microphone. On the grass in front of the stage are rows and rows of chairs for parents, guardians, siblings and friends of the graduating seniors, as well as enough chairs for any faculty, townies and students who decide to attend. There is an aisle free down the middle and reserved seats in the front row for the graduating seniors.

All in all, the place looks fantastic decked out in blue and gold thanks to the efforts of the freshmen on the graduation committee.

Oh yes. Then there's the inflatable gremlin filled with helium off to the side that's the size of the building. It looks kind of cute, actually, just floating there while tied to the ground.

"Perhaps she'll come visit sometime and have all sorts of space pirate adventures to tell of."

"One can only hope. Though, I hope for monthly reports."

"You'll have to let me know if she does; I'd like to know how she's doing, too!"

"I promise to share." she said.

She sat there looking at the stage for a bit.

"What does one usually do after graduations?"

"Umm..." Alphonse looked up thoughtful for a minute or two, then shrugged with an equally blank stare. "No idea. I haven't been in any classes since I was around, I dunno, seven? Eight?" He shrugged again. "And even then it wasn't anywhere near like here."

"Hmmm, I went to Tommy and Annika's graduation. But they didn't seem to be going anywhere to doing anything different after."

"I guess it varies for everyone," he said. "This just seems to be a 'hurrah, you've ~~survived~~ completed your education here' and the such. Not so much determines what's next."

"I heard there was a party," Pip said, plopping himself down in a seat with a lit cigarette. "Free food and whatnot."

"Oh, hi Pip!" Alphonse greeted. "A party? Didn't know about that one."

"That is le rumor," Pip said.

"Well, if there is one, I'm up for free food at the least."

"I hope it's le truth."

"Huh."
