Fandom High Graduation Ceremony Class of 2006 - Monday night

As the sun disappeared below the horizon on Monday evening, large, bright lights came on, illuminating the front lawn of Fandom High. There was a stage area with several chairs for the administration and special guests, as well as a podium and microphone. On the grass in front of the stage are rows and rows of chairs for parents, guardians, siblings and friends of the graduating seniors, as well as enough chairs for any faculty, townies and students who decide to attend. There is an aisle free down the middle and reserved seats in the front row for the graduating seniors.

All in all, the place looks fantastic decked out in blue and gold thanks to the efforts of the freshmen on the graduation committee.

Oh yes. Then there's the inflatable gremlin filled with helium off to the side that's the size of the building. It looks kind of cute, actually, just floating there while tied to the ground.

Okay, unlike some alternate him out there, Xander didn't get to help blow up the school as a graduation present. On the other hand, he's walking across the stage with a diploma in his hand from a school he doesn't want to blow up. Seems like a pretty fine trade.

Good thing Bridge has a really bright smile, given the explosion of flashes from Willow's cameras, or Xander wouldn't know which direction to grin doofily back in.

Alanna clapped and cheered. Faithful shouted. "You Graduated and managed not trip over yourself!" "Faithful shut up!" Alanna was still clapping.

Parker whistles and cheers. "Yay, Harris! Finally!" Then she laughs.

As soon as Xander's name was called, Willow was on her feet yelling, bouncing, stomping her feet, applauding, whistling, and generally making a spectacle of herself.

"YAY, XANDER!"

She then proceeded to take three cameras' worth of pictures.

Xander didn't even blink. He just grinned on his way back across the stage, gave her a wave, and muttered to any of his fellow seniors in the vicinity, "Uh yeah. In case anybody wondered, that's Willow."
