Was anyone looking slightly worried about the pantry ingredients and refrigerated chests Anakin had hauled out the park? Good. You should be worried. There were also three cooking stations set up, and three stacks of terrible, eye-searing shirts in front of Anakin.

Someone stop him from watching food competitions shows into the early hours, gang. "Today will be a cook off!" he announced far-too-loudly through the megaphone. "As always you will work in teams. Your teams will be divided into pairs and as that pair you will work on an appetizer, then tag in the next pair to complete a main dish, and finally your third team pair will make a dessert!"

That seemed too easy.

"You will be bound together like a three-legged race."

There we go.

"And while the food supplies are overwhelming in the choices available to you, the only equipment you have will be what you would find in a typical college freshman's dorm, or in the home of a recently divorced man. Listen for your names! Don't use your powers!"

"Yes," said Stewart, but then there was a long anticipatory pause as an impish grin slowly blossomed on his face and he looked up at Raiden with devious delight in his tone while adding, "...but not usually food."

"Okay, well, we're not doing anything that would deserve that look today, kid." Unless you counted a fantastic dessert as worthy, which honestly? Raiden did. "I'm thinking some sort of tropical flavor profile...coconut and pineapple, maybe, with ginger. Ooh, maybe a coconut sticky rice. What do you think?"

Alas, and there went all of Stewart's precious machinations of transforming the park into his new open-air meth lab. How disheartening.

Still, the grin remained, as he considered Raiden's suggestion.

"Mmm," he mused. "A bit off the beaten path, and tropical is topical for a sumptuous summertime treat. I find that idea....acceptable. Exceptional, in fact. Where do we begin?"

"We're gonna get the rice started, because that'll take about twenty minutes and twenty minutes is all we have," Raiden told him. "And then we'll go from there."

"Prep the rest in the meantime?" Stewart guessed, squinting his eyes a little as his head snaked a little to the side, considering the ingredients, considering the equipment, sending a glance toward their competitors. "And, at the very last moment, throw it all together?"

"That's the plan, Stan," Raiden said, perfectly aware that Stewart's name wasn't Stan. "Let's hit the pantry." He looked down at Stewart and suggested, "Maybe just hang on to me like a koala." Raiden and the ability to be embarrassed were not on speaking terms.
