"He called too," said Janet. "Wow, did I catch it. Oh. You didn't know that? Sam told me ages ago, but I think I brought it up with her." She grimaced. "You mean when he was here and acting kind of weird it was easier to talk to Teal'c about it? Can we nominate Teal'c for some kind of sainthood award?"

"I'm so, so sorry," Daniel said, wondering if he could hide behind essays. "And yes, it was. What was I supposed to tell Jack? The mini-you here is nuts?"

"I appreciate that, Daniel. But it gets worse." She rather doubted Daniel could hide behind those essays he was trying to look like he wasn't looking at. There weren't that many. "Well, first off, you could avoid the term 'mini.' Though he was pretty nuts. Wherever he is--" Janet sighed. "I hope he's all right. But we're still going to take turns making him suffer when we see him again."

"It does?" Daniel almost squeaked. "Where do I come in the turn list? Because obviously Sam's first..."

"I got three phone calls today before I gave up and turned off my phone," said Janet. "Of course Sam gets to go first. And then I get to patch him up and keep him in the infirmary while I lecture him senseless. Then everyone else gets to decide who takes the next turn. I'll just keep patching him up and lecturing him in between beatings."

Janet possibly sounded a little too cheerful about this.

Daniel frowned. "Who was the third one from?" he asked, running down a list of possibilities in his head. Daniel looked at her fearfully. "I'm sure... uh... I'm sure he'll learn his lesson after that."

"Thor!" Janet shrugged. "I had no idea that he could call on the phones, much less that he had my phone number!" She smiled. "He'd better."

Daniel just looked baffled at that. "No, uh, I had no idea either," he said. "I didn't tell Thor though! I have no idea how I'd even tell him!"

"Teal'c told General Hammond, and I'm assuming General Hammond called Thor!" Janet still looked confused. "He called to make sure nothing was wrong with the cloning process, tell me Heimdall wanted to 'talk science' at Sam and Jack's wedding--and then he offered me food cubes because he'd heard the dorm food was bad!"

Daniel blinked, trying to take it all in. "Oh."

"It was kind of funny by the end, though," she said.

"Funny is... good?"

"Better, anyway," said Janet. "So, Daniel, did you e-mail pictures of me at six to Teal'c?"

Daniel shook his head. "No." Not yet

Janet relaxed slightly in her chair. "Oh, thank goodness. Do you know how embarrassed I'd be?" Then she frowned again. "Daniel, did you take any pictures of me as a six year old?"

Daniel shifted uncomfortably in his chair. "Maybe?"

"Daniel!" Janet bolted upright in her chair. "How could you!"

Okay, she'd have done the same. But still.

Daniel flailed. "You were all cute and small and little!"

"That's exactly why I don't want there to be any pictures of that weekend!"

Janet? Also kind of flailing here.

"I'm not going to share them!"

Except perhaps with Teal'c if he got drunk one night, but she didn't need to know that.

"But you still took them!"

Still freaking here.

"Wait, if you got drunk and told Teal'c about us, who's to say you're not going to get drunk and send them to him? And then he'll send them to Jack and I'll never hear the end of it from anybody!"

"Because you were so sweet!" Daniel protested.

"Because I can't work a computer when I'm drunk?!"

"Daniel, I was a sugar and caffeine hyped little hellion!" exclaimed Janet. "What made you think I was sweet?"

"Ooh, good point," said Janet. "But Sam can work a computer drunk, in her sleep, or with both hands tied behind her back."

"Not when you were asleep," Daniel pointed out and then winced. Damn, he hadn't meant to tell her that's when he took the pictures.

"But I'm not Sam!" he said, a little reduntantly.

"Daniel!" Janet was possibly panicking by now. "I can't believe you! Wait, while I was asleep? Liz was there too. You took pictures of me and Liz as wee six year old?"

"But what if she finds out about them?" Janet's expression suggested that Sam had better never see them.
