The Chef was in a very good mood today. Seeing all those kids yesterday made him very happy. Das Schnitzel, on the other hand, was glad to have everyone back to their old ages. She didn't like children much.

"Hey," Nadia smirked. "I told you to marry Quinn, but noooooo. You had to marry me and Pippi."

"Greedy little bugger aren't ya?"

"Says the pirate." Walter considered the sliding under the table method of dealing with his wives and decided that he was really better off brazening this one out. "So, which of you is sleeping in my room first? Or should I just go back and forth between your rooms? Or should we go down to the office and get one big room for all three of us?"

"Maybe we should just move into the girl's bathroom. You seem quite at home in there."

Nadia did not want to know about Walter and the girl's bathroom.

"I have a single and two beds," she stated. "If we're looking to move in together."

She can do this. All casual-like. Completely hiding the fact that the idea of sleeping in Walter's room or him sleeping in her room is making her squeeeeee quite a bit.

"I was just trying to help you!" Walter protested to Pippi. "You were sleeping standing up against the bathroom door. It looked uncomfortable."

Back to Nadia. "You need sheets for that bed." Two beds, three people. There would be some doubling ~~or tripling~~ up.

Damn, this was a weird place.

"You could push them together."

"I need to get paid before I can buy sheets. Let's see, we managed to work for about twenty minutes yesterday, so between the three of us, that's a whole hour."

"If I'm using them, I can buy them."

Um. Wait a minute. Whose idea was it to talk about this as though it was normal? His? Nahh...

"I think we should get danger pay for the lava."

"You're the only one who's used it since Lily left."

Nadia really needed to start thinking before she spoke. Because that statement brought on a nice, rosy blush.

Only in the most honorable of manners!

So his blush? Must just be because Nadia's blushing.

Walter's blush made Nadia blush harder.

This was getting ridiculous.

Time to change the subject again.

"I got tied up in shop today."

Okay, maybe not to that subject.

"Evil robots?"

She shook her head.

"Final exam."

"That's pretty final. Did you not get a good grade?"

"Or did you put ice cream in Mac's hair?"

"Or take his nose?"

Walter had no response for that.

"I used the leatherman to cut the ropes and then used the fire extinguisher to freeze the hinges on the safe and knock them off." Nadia said, proudly. "I saw it on AKA. Only not with a safe."

"And then you put ice cream in his hair?"

"Then I duct taped him to a wall," Nadia lied cheerfully. "Because he was saying how duct tape was the best because it's hard to take it off of things."

"Did he manage to get the duct tape off using just his spit and a pocket comb?" Walter had read that posting about Mac.

"He couldn't reach his comb," said Nadia, who was totally on a roll, now. "But he keeps a Swiss Army Knife tucked in his cheek like a chipmunk, so he used that."

Because SAK beats duct tape. And scissors.

"Right. Like a chipmunk. And then you stole his nose and dropped it on the floor and broke it."

Okay, embarrassing, but funny. "Did you know that Stark's face glows?"
