Library, 4/27

A surly teenage boy is behind the counter, attempting to hide his face in a back issue of Rolling Stone.

He is very much hoping today will be the quietest day in library history, but the library is open and full of books anyhow. A new handwritten sign on the library door reads, END OF SEMESTER -- ALL BOOKS DUE MAY 5. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Isabel slipped out and closed the door to Special Collections near the end of sixth period.

"Find what you want?" Angela called. By this time, he had switched his reading material from Rolling Stone to Karate Today.

"Yes. No. Maybe." Isabel shrugged, "There was a lot of information. I need to process it all. It doesn't seem that Antar's all that different then Earth though. They still have war on other planets after all."
