When ~~the poor schmucks~~ Fandom arrived in the park on Wednesday, they would see five wooden rafts, big enough to each hold four people (or Muppets, or a Sidon), bobbing on the pond. In the center of each raft was a metal bucket full of objects. Some were balloon-shaped, some were ball-shaped, others were clearly shoes. One looked suspiciously like Intern Porg.

(Do not throw Intern Porg.)

"In honor of break week, we are doing something that didn't require much effort on my part to set up," Anakin said, which was pretty straight-forward of him. "We're doing a balloon-ish toss! Pick an object, toss it to your teammate on the next raft over. Do not miss, or break the object! Fastest team to get all the way around the circuit wins."

He grinned. "Powers may be used today. And there are plenty of objects in the buckets. No one says you have to only toss things at your own teammates."

Sometimes Anakin just liked to watch the world burn.

"Listen for your names!"

Marvel how Anakin managed to find a Hawaiian shirt with oppossums on it that had sizes to fit both Sidon and Sam!

Summer...looked like she wanted to say something about her shirt and then stopped herself about five times, before she just stopped trying, put it on, and resigned herself to her fate.

"Tony is going to have so many jokes," Steve sighed, looking at his shirt.

"This is the greatest shirt in history," Steve declared, beaming down at Abe Lincoln.

Jon looked between the shirt and Steve skeptically. "I suppose I should ask if we're seeing the same thing."

Steve laughed. "A US president riding a dinosaur?"

"Right, yes. Can never be too sure. In which case, I may have to disagree with you."

This was certainly not anything Jon would wear, given a choice.

Well, it was Certainly A Look.

"You're ready for the Fourth next week, too," Steve said with a grin.

Jon gave him a flat look. Was the accent not a giveaway?

"You mean the day on which I and my fellow expatriates gather to say good riddance?"

Someone ought to make a joke about the big cock on Stark's shirt.

Someone who wasn't Stark.

It wouldn't be Steve, either! "We're going to make a great team," Steve declared earnestly.

Hopefully one of their teammates or opponents would be willing to make the jokes for them!

"I hope so," Stark said. "I'm not always good at throwing things."

Especially when he'd overdone things yesterday and smashed up his knuckles at the gym a bit.

"Well, I'm not sure being skilled really helps in these events," Steve said. "I failed pretty epically at jello jumping all summer."

Sam was extremely disappointed that he was not wearing the great Abraham Lincoln on his shirt.

Poor Sam.

"Would've been better with a chocobo," Gladio had to admit, as he shucked one shirt to then put on another, "but I think I could be down with this one."

It was absolutely being left unbuttoned, though.

"I love this shirt!" Raiden exclaimed delightedly, because his taste level was...well.

It really was...something in that size, it had to be said.

So many things about the 21st century continued to bewilder Eleanor, and this shirt was no exception, although she couldn't help but wonder if Mr. Eagle would approve of this sort of thing.

It really, really felt like a toss-up, honestly.

The shirt was... interesting that was for sure. Kurt held it out and looked at it a moment. "Logan would probably get a kick out of this!"

Libby was enjoying using the break week to just stick around back home and visit with her family (well, some of them), but she had to admit, there was one thing she was really regretting missing that week, but, hopefully, she could just live a little vicariously through her boyfriend in that regard.

Which is why, around the time the festivities usually started, Kurt would be getting a text:

Are you at the shenanigans in the park? How bad are the shirts this week?

Kurt smiled when he read the text from Libby.

They are interesting.... that's for sure he texted back with a photo of himself his full opossumed out shirt.

He followed that almost immediately wth another quick text.

Having a good time back home I hope? Miss you lots!

Oh noooooooo! Libby texted back, and she just regretted that Kurt couldn't have heard her laugh when she got the picture, because, oh, she was not expecting something like that! In spirit, yes, but not the specifics.

Those really are terrible! I feel like you'd need to get a rabies shot just for wearing it! And it's nice here. Quiet, mostly, so long as I can avoid Patience and Just, but that's not too difficult since I'm staying with Grandma Jean. She's helping me go over some good possible nursing schools. We might even go visit one real quick before I head back to Fandom!

There was maybe a little bit of a pause, before she added, face gone pink and warm as she did:

I miss you too.

Tell Patience and Just I'll port over and keep them in line if they give you any trouble Kurt texted bac with a smiley face to let her know he was kidding. He would of course port over in an instant if she needed him... If he was ya know, able to actually port that far and all that. Minor detail!

Give Grandma Jean my best. And good luck with the nursing school stuff! You will have to tell me what it's like if you do go and visit one of the schools. I'd love to hear about it!

Kurt smiled and then added Maybe we can facetime while you are there and you can show me around a little too?

There was one thing that would always kinda impress Dwight about these shirts- that the Dean somehow managed to find ones that were just a tad too small for him. "Rogers is the one who likes the tight shirts," he pointed out as he tried to get his shirt on.

"Zouuuunds!" said Graham, marveling a little at his shirt as he held it out with an excited grin on his face. "This shirt is perfect for those days when you just don't know what you want to wear!"

Was Cutter just a little bit jealous of the T-Rex Abe shirt and that he didn’t get to wear it? Yes he was, it was at least enough to distract him from the fact that he was going to be doing a water based activity.
