Classics/Foreign Lit, Period 2, 4/25

Dream is seated cross-legged on his desk as he greets his students. "Hello. Today's task should be easy enough; use the books around the room and in the library, if needed, to work on your final papers. I would like you to choose your topics for class on Thursday, and then the papers will be due on May 4."

"Please let me know if you have questions.:

Anders signs in for Classics. He looks much more well-rested today than he did yesterday (not that he got out yesterday), but still mildly troubled.

Nadia worked away at her final paper.

Sort of.

She crumpled up a bit of paper and tossed it quietly to Sydney. Hi!

Anders spends most of the class period migrating absently between his desk and the books, notebook in hand, perusing the titles on the shelves. He seems to be a bit drawn toward subject matter dealing with oracles and prophecies today.

Elizabeth has several books surrounding her as she works on her laptop. Including an Italian dictionary.

Janet spent a lot of time working on her final project. She was scribbling notes and flipping through books all period.

Hamlet spends the class working on his assignment and occasionally staring off into space.

Nadia approached Dream a little bit hesitantly after class. "Professor Dream, you teach Creature Languages, right?"

Nadia nodded. "Walter's in that class, and he interviewed my cat Furrball for a project. I thought I'd offer that Furrball could help out some of the other students, if you wanted."

John, before notepassing, asks Dream generic questions about a generic final paper. He does not do it to ask if Dream's a fan of butter and jam.

Anders has a free period next, so he figures while he's here, what the hell? He hangs back for a while at the end of class, hoping to talk to Dream.

"Sir? This, um, isn't about my final paper or anything, but if I could ask you a quick question?"

"Thanks, sir." He shifted from one foot to the other awkwardly, fiddling with the strap of his backpack and not daring to look up. "I, um. When you have a dream that seems way more real than you're used to, does it have to mean something, or could it just be a fluke?"
