Classics/Foreign Lit, Period 2, 4/25

Dream is seated cross-legged on his desk as he greets his students. "Hello. Today's task should be easy enough; use the books around the room and in the library, if needed, to work on your final papers. I would like you to choose your topics for class on Thursday, and then the papers will be due on May 4."

"Please let me know if you have questions.:

Nadia approached Dream a little bit hesitantly after class. "Professor Dream, you teach Creature Languages, right?"

Nadia nodded. "Walter's in that class, and he interviewed my cat Furrball for a project. I thought I'd offer that Furrball could help out some of the other students, if you wanted."

"He could go to class. As long as someone made sure he didn't run off, afterwards."

Considering their history together, and that yesterday's interview had apparently involved threats of being fed one's own kneecaps, Nadia was pretty sure that Walter could, in fact, handle it.

"I'll check with him to make sure, but I think Walter wouldn't mind handling him."

Nadia worked away at her final paper.

Sort of.

She crumpled up a bit of paper and tossed it quietly to Sydney. Hi!

"You're welcome. I think Furrball will probably love to get out of my room for a bit."

No idea. Do you think if I write about Argentine literature, it won't count as "foreign"?

Yes.

Nadia hesitated, then kept writing.

Walter kissed me!

That Nadia had to think about. Well, *I* liked it. And I think HE did, too, but he's gay? And he hasn't said anything and I haven't said anything and I don't know if it was supposed to MEAN anything . . . what if he HATED it?

Nadia frowned slightly. I don't think he's been weird, he just hasn't mentioned it or done anything different or anything. He interviewed my cat yesterday, and that seemed to be okay,

Anders signs in for Classics. He looks much more well-rested today than he did yesterday (not that he got out yesterday), but still mildly troubled.

There were people who still didn't know that? Huh.

Yes. And he knows I do, he's known for awhile.

Anders spends most of the class period migrating absently between his desk and the books, notebook in hand, perusing the titles on the shelves. He seems to be a bit drawn toward subject matter dealing with oracles and prophecies today.

I hope so. Nadia paused. Are you doing anything later? We should hang out so I can find out you're my sister, already, omg,

Nadia glanced over at John and shot Syd a quick smirk. Well, if you're busy, I don't want to steal all your time. . . .
