"Hello, students! Remember, next Tuesday is your final. Since it's been such a persistent metaphor this semester, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a question about the Tricycle of Justice."

"Thursday will be a review day. Bring any question you have about Justice and I'll answer it! But for today, you get off easy. Today we'll be watching one last episode off Crime & Punishment for the semester. This is the controversial episode where a party clown was found dead in the Mayor's kitchen pantry."

"This week's metaphor is the sun, while this week's extra credit is to bring is some snazzy, summery sunglasses."

"You would think that," Marty replied. "But typically the show will do a little twist. In the end? My money is on the butler hiring chung-chung."

"I'm just saying in my day they didn't need any fancy stuff to do what they do," Angel said. "So if this guy's got his finger on the pulse of every security cam in the building, it's suspicious."

"That proves nothing," Angel said, grumpily folding his arms.

He grumped some more.

"No, really, who says that?"

"He's the only one who has regular access to the pantry. Plus he's been practically a father to the kid with the Mayor being so neglectful of his family life."

"So why would he risk leaving the son alone if he got caught and sent to jail?"

"Good point," Marty agreed, "But maybe in the end this will be the undoing of the butler's plot. He indulged the son too much with sandwiches and clowns and created a monster. When the facts come to life about the clowns' extortion scheme, I'm betting the butler will come forward and admit his involvement."

Marty nods. "That's the pattern the show usually takes. Dead clowns. Evil sons. Enabling Butlers and then compassionate Justice."

"If you want something really good you should just go to the record store and order some brownies," Marty suggested quietly when he was pretty sure that Professor Tick and Lockheed if he's here wasn't around to hear him.

Lockheed had the nagging suspicion that somebody was being sneaky about suggesting something. But he was tired, so he ignored it.
