Anakin swooped into class with his normal flair, trying to pretend like he didn't have a koala clinging to his shoulders and riding in his hood.

But he did.

But he wouldn't admit it.

"Today we are going to learn about lying in the face of overwhelming evidence," he said. "Sometimes in espionage, you will get caught and exposed as a spy. Obviously, you cannot admit that you are working for a foreign adversary because that generally leads to immediate, generally horrible, consequences. But we're not going to start off with lying about your jobs. We'll start easier." He sighed to himself. "For example, I do not have a koala on me today."

But he did.

"You need to try to prove to me that I do."

"What's a koala?" Vi asked, in a completely sincere tone of voice.

"It's a furry, clinging mammal from this planet," Anakin explained, "which would have no reason to be in a classroom and therefore isn't."

"Huh," Vi said making a show of taking out her phone to look something up. "What do they look like?"

"I guess," Vi said, as her eyes widened and she looked up from her phone. "Hey, teach, you might not want to move."

Gray was absolutely delighted to have Stark the koala in two of his classes in one week.

"But he's adorable!" he protested. "So fuzzy!"

"The koala! Did you know they can sleep for twenty hours a day? You know, like me."

"You can sleep twenty hours a day?" Anakin repeated.

"Koala?" asked Graham. "Did someone say koala? I don't think I see any koalas here!"

Ah, yes, the old reverse reverse psychology! A bold strategy indeed, Cracker!

"Good," Anakin said. "A koala in class would be ridiculous."

And then there was a moment where Graham was stumped, like he hadn't actually expected to get this far and didn't plan this far ahead.

"Erm," he offered, smartly, and then... "Then again, I' not sure I'd even recognize a koala if I saw one. Would you?"

"Yes," Anakin said, nodding. "I'm a teacher and very knowledgeable on a wide range of subject matters."

And modest, too.

Charlie turned to the person next to her. "He's got a koala on him."

Then she looked at Anakin. "Nice neck warmer."
